O—— FENLAND STUDIO ——o. Art & vintage homewares. ORIGINAL 1960s BP’CHEMICALS FROM PETROLEUM’ LARGE GRAPHIC POSTER. An original display poster from BP – printed in the 1960s by Beric Press Ltd, Crawley, who set up business in 1964 and carried on into the 1970s. It is a great graphic design, very mid-century Atomic, with all the different uses of petroleum on a mid-grey background. The poster is a large size, approx. 77cm wide by 57.5cm high. It is vintage, but is in excellent condition, I can’t really see any signs of wear although the poster is vintage and has been stored. Please take a look at the photos as they best show the condition. A great example of mid-century Petroliana Art – Automobilia interest/Transportation/Petrol/Oil – Perfect for a garage/man cave/study or any room really! Originally the poster would have been displayed in corporate offices. Please check out my other items – I have several original vintage BP Posters for sale from the 1950s and 60s.
