A stylish space age table or desk lamp designed in 1966 by Robert Welch and manufactured by Lumitron in England. Inner plastic diffuser in white with outer dome of grey transparent acrylic. It features a base in polished aluminium and a string on/off switch. Very reminiscent in style to Verner Panton Pantella series in particular. I have listed any issues I can see below – it does need a little TLC and is priced accordingly. Designed by Robert Welch in 1966. Mid century design classic. Two tone acrylic shade with metal base and stem. Large table / desk lamp. The lamp is working, but needs some TLC – it has not been PAT tested (advisable to get old lamps checked). One of the two lugs which seat the top part of the lamp onto the bottom is missing. Someone has painted the bottom edge of the rim at some point. The bayonet bulb socket is misaligned – possibly mis threaded onto the stem. The pull switch needs reattaching internally – possibly a hot glue gun type solution – the switch works but isn’t anchored internally therefore isn’t usable as is. Chrome tarnishing, scuffs and scratches to the base and stem. Please be aware that this is a vintage item and therefore not perfect. I’ve tried to show everything in the photos… Overall height – 53cm. Base diameter – 16.5cm. Shade height – 20cm. Shade diameter – 27cm. Cord is 3 metres + long. I will take the top off completely and wrap all parts separately and carefully to try and minimise any risk of damage in transit. A superb piece of design this lamp – it really reminds me of a Belisha beacon.

Mcm Atomic Style Wire Umbrella Stick Stand Black Red. This is a preloved item so may show some signs of wear and tear consistent with its age and use. There is some pitting to the black wire frame, and the paint to the drip tray has worn away. None of this detracts from its use and retro loveliness. Local collection from Hull also available.

Quality made, Atomic/Mid Century reproduction pendant with perforated body to allow light to disperse into the room. Made by Rejuvenation, of Portland, Oregon in 2005. Some scratching, a few “dings”, mainly to one side, so the light could be hung over a sink for instance, and the marring wouldn’t be terribly noticeable. Made initially for incandescent bulbs, but LED could be used now. Original hanging bracket is included. A really cool pendant. 5 1/2 Diameter Canopy. 4 1/2 Diameter Base Opening.
