Extremely Rare Mid Century 1960s Atomic Nebula Space Age Pattern Design Enamel On Copper Barometer. Stylised representation of 12 planets / stars orbiting a central object set on a deep blue ground enamel on copper disc. The rim of the disc providing an age patinated plain copper border. The enamelled copper disc stamped to the rear Made in England. The Aneroid Barometer is chrome rimmed and 5 (12.5cm) diameter. Very minor surface scuffs to copper rim at 1 o’clock otherwise in very good overall condition commensurate with age and use. Overall Size: 10 1/4″ (26cm) Diameter disc x 2″ (5cm) Deep. Altogether a beautifully proportioned outstanding item which displays exceptionally well.

RARE Vintage Mid-Century Eyeball Space age Atomic Lamp 60’s 70’s – Dark Burgundy. No dispatch can be made between Dec 21-Jan 3. Rare vintage mid-century eyeball atomic lamp, highly collectable. This iconic piece is made with metal, feels quite heavy and appears very well built. The colour is a very deep burgundy or a very dark reddy brown, a fantastic contrast to the silver chrome. It comes with a UK plug and takes B22 bulb fitting; the bulb shape / size could be GLS or golf ball depending on preference. In my photo, the lamp is fitted with a B22 golf ball (LED 5W) as I prefer the look of a recessed bulb. Here are some approximate measurements: 10cm base diameter, 22cm height, 13cm width. Condition : Very clean, well preserved and in working order. Generally it is in very good used vintage condition showing some expected signs of cosmetic wear, which may include. Patina to the chrome and a few. Minor imperfection to the paint work, also the wire appears yellowy from age but it could be replaced if so desired, please see photos. This lamp comes from a very clean home, pet and smoke free. Item will be very well packed for safe transit, bulb is NOT included. Please see other quality items, thanks for looking. I always leave a feedback only after you leave yours, this will also serve to inform me that the item has been delivered. Your items will always be securely packed with sufficient protective materials to avoid transit damages. My dispatch period + carrier transit period. Is always temporarily more elevated when the item has been completely confined and sealed inside a plastic bag during transit, and anyone not used to a new smell may find it extra pungent. Have found that the combination of laundering and airing out is usually an effective measure, which is also a hygienic general practice to treat 2nd hand garments before wearing.

RARE Glo-Hill Mr and Mrs Steak Knives and Forks set! Mid Century Steak Knives and forks from the Mad Men era! Mr and Mrs Steakmates by Glo-Hill, Stainless Steel, Made in Canada. Set of 12 in a FABULOUS case with Atomic pattern! Wonderfully serrated Steakmates De-Luxe Bakelite knives by Glo-Hill Cutlery of Canada. These were part of the Mr and Mrs Steakmates line, which had the caption ” for the young in heart” pamphlet which is INCLUDED with the set. This set is the perfect example of the mid century must haves for any dining service, fabulous for special dinners-dinner parties! It was a point of pride of many people to have Glo Hill items and as such, they were treated with care or rarely used, only on the most special of occasions. The Glo-Hill name is synonymous with quality and this set is no exception. The set looks never to have been used, the condition is fabulous with only a bit of color loss to the outer case and a bit of tarnish to the metal divider, otherwise excellent. Glo-Hill was in operation from 1940 to the late 1970s based in Montreal, Canada. They produced high quality stainless steel and Bakelite barware products titled Glo-Hill Barmates. What a special gift for the mid century Tiki Eames era lover!
