Monumental Sonneman Style Orb Lamp Mid Century Atomic 4-Light Table Lamp EVC
Gorgeous Sonneman-style lamp with a central light and three orb/eyeball down lights. The set of down lights and the central light can be controlled independently. Switch on just the down lights for a subtle effect, use just the central light, or switch on both, for maximum effect. A big, bold, and beautiful lamp, standing 36 inches high. We wish we’d been able to identify a designer for this piece! It looks like the felt pad on the underside might have been renewed at some point, so markings or a label would have been lost ooscured in the process. Regardless of provenance, this lamp is a standout in the mid century atomic genre. Bulbs for the down lights will be provided with the lamp. Maximum circumference = 14 inches. Excellent condition for age, with no chips, cracks or crazing. There’s some scratching to the curved surface of the base (please refer to photo #8).
