Space age at its finest. Gorgeous mid-century display table imported from Germany. The perfect addition to complete your mid-century look. Tables like this were traditionally used to display plants or collectibles. This display table has a beautiful marble patterned Formica base, tapered brass-capped legs, gold and black colored trim and five upper levels sporting a red formica top. Each of them is attached to a bentwood piece. This vintage plant stand combines beautiful design with utter practicability as it allows you to display several plants (or other items) in a relatively small space. This is an original item from the 50’s and not a reproduction, please expect age-appropriate signs of wear from the last +50 years. Please inspect all the pictures and ask questions before purchasing. Minor discolorations on the formica platforms.

Super rare to find this with the original Formica wood shelf inserts. We cleaned the wire with 3000 grit sandpaper as it had some rust. This did remove a lot of the gold but This beauty is now ready to be sprayed in the color of your choice. You can also spray or recover the shelves or use as they are. 25″ tall, 8″ deep, 10 1/2 wide.

Fab Vintage Retro Mid Century Modern Atomic Bamboo Plant Stand Etagere 3 Plants
Here we have a lovely vintage plant stand. With a strong French look to it, this super looking piece probably dates to the late 50s/ early 60s and features a chunky curved bamboo frame with three attached plant pot holders and a little shelf at the bottom. The shelf area is made from a tough cardboard with tile effect- possibly known as resopal. This plant stand is in good vintage condition. As is almost always the case with bamboo plant stands, the rings that hold the plants sit at a slight angle to the main body- particularly the one at the back of this one. It’s firmly attached though, and the angulation of the rings means that trailing plants would look particularly good on the stand. The shelf has been wet at some point, and the base of it- old chipboard, underneath the tile effect, has swollen a little under the bottom of the bamboo rim. Again structurally sound, just best to point out. There are also some marks/ scratches to the black shelf, though nothing major and totally commensurate to age and use. Pot rings inner diameter 12cm.
