As good as it gets! True Danish Mid Century Modern design at its best. From my collection to yours. Lovely detailed and colorful tile of an owl and two babies, against an impossible blue sun. Colors are tremendous and come to life in the light. Mounted on burlap in original 60’s-era frame! I do not know the designer. Wear to the frame, as pictured, adds a cool patina. A few scuffs to the tile. Backing paper is torn. Measures about 12″ by 9.75″ along the exterior of the frame.

MEASUREMENTS- 13 7/8″ diameter/squared x 7 1/2″ tall from ceiling to bottom of finial. Very retro original 1950s-60s atomic era glass light fixture. The light is in nice working original condition. There is some age ware/patina on the gold finial and a few specks on the shade that looks to be slight imperfections but extremely small and minor. The ceiling cap has a few paint chips along the top rim but overall the original paint polished up very nicely. The 3 bulb socket works great. The bursting stripes are a golden shimmering crystaline textured enamel adding a gorgeous effect when lit. Overall a beautiful surviving original piece for your 1950s-60s room styling project. ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era rounded fiberglass lamp shade. Color: Beige with silver, red and black horizontal brush strokes applied to the surface. The shade can be used on a table lamp, or on a floor lamp; there a metal ring at the top opening which is meant for the shade to rest atop a milk glass diffuser (see photos). The shade stands 9 tall. The diameter at the top is approx. 19 while at the bottom it’s approx. CONDITION : Very good condition – no rips, holes, tears, punctures, burn marks, etc. The lacing is fully intact, and taut. Mid century style 3 tiered fiberglass lamp shade. It is red and ivory colored fiberglass with a simple arc pattern in black. The larger tier measures 15 inches in diameter and is 5 inches tall and the top and bottom tiers are 12 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall. 9 inch total height. All of the fiberglass and lacing is brand new. This sale is for the shade only not the lamp in the pictures. I added those pics so you could see what the shade looks like when it’s lit up and mounted on a lamp. This shade looks best using an 8 inch harp. I would be happy to make you a pair so please adjust the quantity as needed.
