Superb mid century atomic enamel Nufa electric wall clock not metamec
A stylish and original mid century/Atomic (1960/70s) NUFA electric wall clock measuring 10.5 inches in diameter. The clock has a black enamel face with multicoloured brass digits and original triangular metal hand with steel minute hand. The enamel aluminium face is mounted onto plywood and pierces through the back retaining its original electrical movement. The cable has bene cut and therefore this has not been tested. It will need to be re-wired and tested by a qualified electrician before use. The hands can be adjusted from the rear and the mount is stamped NUFA with 220v. Scuffs and marks and lots of dust as found in original unrestored condition. Quite a rare model i believe and what a statement wall clock when fully working. Typifies the mid century/atomic style. Vintage 50s 60s Adjustable Metal Wood Atomic Era Floor Lamp Mid Century Modern
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage metal and wood adjustable atomic era floor lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The lamp features three pierced conical shades that can pivot / rotate at their connection points. Each of the metal shades is adorned with a wood accent piece along the top surface (see photos). The lamp has three-way functionality: one turn of the rotary knob switch allows the top and bottom shades to light up together, another turn of the switch will allow the middle shade to light up on its own, and a final turn will light up all three shades at the same time. The on/off rotary knob switch is located on the vertical column (see photo). Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 62.25 tall measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the vertical bar. Each shade measures approx. 10 long (measured from the top of the wooden accent to the edge of the shade opening at the bottom). The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. Condition: There are no breaks, repairs, etc. The lamp is in good condition for its age, but it does have some cosmetic issues that we will mention. First off, the shades shows loss of the gold coloration in areas. The metal underneath is a silver color, and it shows in those areas (see photos). This can easily be remedied with a fresh coat of paint, or it can be left alone. We chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The wooden accent pieces at the tops of each of the shades could use a gentle polishing, but they do display fine as they are. The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp shows signs of tarnishing, mainly around the edges (see photo). Again, we chose to leave it as it was acquired, but it can easily be repainted, if desired. Each of the shades pivots / turns well at their connection points. The electrical wiring is in good shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in 100% working order. Rare Vintage Ferris Shacknove Iron Metal Tripod Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a seldom seen atomic tripod lamp designed by Ferris-Shacknove. Circa’50 /’60s. The lamp base is constructed of iron with small wooden atomic ball feet. The shade is constructed of textured cotton over paper. We have included an advertisement from an old Furniture Forum catalog for reference (see photo). It’s a stylish atomic lamp that’ll look fantastic in any mid century modern setting! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 16″ in diameter. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket measures approx. The distance between each of the atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: Overall, give its age, we’d say the lamp is in very good condition. Aside from the light bulb socket being a little loose and needing some tightening, the base is free from having any issues. It is structurally solid, and displays very nicely. The shade is original to the lamp. It has some minor faint areas of discoloration (possibly old moisture marks or something of that nature). We have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. The shade can easily be turned to have those marks facing the back (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final. Vintage Mid Century Barkcloth Curtain Atomic 50s 172 X 106 Cm Collectible 2
The original curtain is beautiful and has a thin tape to the top. Can defiantly be made into a dress. Measures 172 x 106 cm. I love love love this curtain. I have another listed so you could have a pair. Condition is “Used” may have a little discolouration, this can be expected with 70 year old curtains. Today, what is commonly called barkcloth is a soft, thick, slightly textured fabric, so named because it has a rough surface like that of tree bark. This barkcloth is usually made of densely woven cotton fibers. Historically, the fabric has been used in home furnishings, such as curtains, drapery, upholstery, and slipcovers. It is often associated with 1940s through 1960s home fashions, particularly in tropical, abstract, “atomic” and “boomerang” prints, the last two themes being expressed by images of atoms with electrons whirling, and by the boomerang shape which was very popular in mid-century cocktail tables and fabrics.
