Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage plaster table lamp with its original accompanying two-tier fiberglass shade. The base has a rather organic, other worldly look to it. The lamp has two different lights – one comes from the main socket, and then there is a smaller, Christmas-style bulb that is embedded into the plaster base. The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch that is embedded into the bottom of the base. It allows for three-way functionality. One twist will light up the small bulb on its own. A second twist will light up the main bulb on its own. And a third twist will allow both to be lit up together. We are uncertain as to the maker – no signatures or labels were detected. This is a fantastic lamp that’ll make a great addition to any mcm interior setting! With the fiberglass shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The plaster base alone measures approx. 19″ tall x 10″ wide (measured at the bottom of the base) x 5.25 deep (measured at the bottom of the base). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. The double tiered fiberglass shade measures approx. 12 tall, with the upper tier being approx. 15.5″ wide x 12″ deep, and the lower tier being approx. 20″ wide x 12″ deep. Condition: With the exception of one small, old stable chip on the plaster base, the lamp is in exceptionally good and clean condition. The chip can easily be filled in or just left alone. The fiberglass shade is in great shape as well – no burns, creases, breaks, repairs, punctures, etc. All of the lacing appear to be original, and it is intact. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is free from having any issues – no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a very cool vintage table lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The lamp appears to be made of metal, and it has a very nice solid weight to it. We are uncertain as to the maker. No shade present – that’ll be left up to the purchaser to provide. The lamp stands approx. 29.5 tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. The black and red decorative metal component measures approx. The round brass base measures approx. 6.25 in diameter. The lamp shows some scattered paint loss (see photos). The round brass base shows some signs of discoloration and tarnishing – nothing overly alarming (see photos). We have not attempted to clean or polish the base in an manner, so with a little elbow grease and tlc, you might be able to spiff it up a bit. The round base also looks slightly out-of-round on one side (again, see photo) – we think it can be finessed back into shape from the underside of the base – that’s something that we’ll leave up to the purchaser to handle. The electrical wiring is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use. Please ask them and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
