Majestic Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic Table Lamp Fiberglass Shade

A sleek, mid-century wood and brass lamp by the Majestic Lamp Company. This piece features striking curved and straight lines and rests on a minimal wooden base. The fiberglass lampshade includes a wrapped leather cord detail along the edges. 22.5″ x 24″ x 9″ (lamp with shade); 14″ x 16.5″ x 5″ (without shade and harp, height to top of socket); 24 (top of finial). 22.5″ x 11.5″ x 9 (shade). Overall age appropriate scratches, scuffs and marks. Some wear and loss of color to the leather on the shade. The lamp is in working condition. Majestic Boomerang Z Lamp 50s Retro Mid Century Atomic Modern Rare Luxcraft

This rare and stunning lamp was made by Majestic in the late 1950’s, and is their best looking (in my opinion) lamp design. The two boomerang shaped wood and brass base pieces are finished by large trapezoidal fiberglass shades that give the entire piece an inverted triangular look. It’s in pretty good condition all around, but unfortunately has a small hole in the top shade on one side (see photos). It’s not particularly noticible unless you’re looking for it though. The lacing is also pretty dry, and is starting to crack in a few places, which is common on these lamps. The lamp is quite large, and measures 34 tall, 24 wide, and 8.5 deep. I’m including two new led bulbs, which light up individually, and together on the lamp. Everything works perfectly, and the cord is still nice and pliable.
