Price is for the pair! Here we have a pair of vintage Soviet late 1984s mid century modern desk lamps. The condition is original paint so it features a deep shiny blue finish but also signs of use with paint damage which can be viewed in the photos however this adds to the genuine nature we believe. Working perfectly and giving a wonderful light. The shade is all metal and the base is a combination of metal. This lamp requires a single E27 Edison screw fit bulb, has a large plunger style base mounted on/off switch and is fitted with a European plug which can easily be changed. Base diameter 6,3 (16 cm). This is a truly rare find. Mid Century Modern Atomic Age Cowhide Shade 1950’s Signed Table Lamp. I love the shape of the shade and the way it works so well with the base. The bottom of the shade measures 15″ x 9 1/4″. The lamp is 18 tall. The top is loose and needs to be tightened and will lean to one side otherwise. The lamp was propped up during the pictures. There is some gold paint worn away on the front and there is a hairline crack near the cord. Please refer to the pictures as they are part of the description. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a seldom seen atomic tripod lamp designed by Ferris-Shacknove. Circa’50 /’60s. The lamp base is constructed of iron with small wooden atomic ball feet. The shade is constructed of textured cotton over paper. We have included an advertisement from an old Furniture Forum catalog for reference (see photo). It’s a stylish atomic lamp that’ll look fantastic in any mid century modern setting! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 16″ in diameter. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket measures approx. The distance between each of the atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: Overall, give its age, we’d say the lamp is in very good condition. Aside from the light bulb socket being a little loose and needing some tightening, the base is free from having any issues. It is structurally solid, and displays very nicely. The shade is original to the lamp. It has some minor faint areas of discoloration (possibly old moisture marks or something of that nature). We have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. The shade can easily be turned to have those marks facing the back (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final. VINTAGE TENSION POLE FLOOR LAMP. Working lights with original red round acrylic shades. The shades are in great shape with no chips or cracks. Gold metal pole has some light tarnish; no dents or or cracks. Lamp dates to the 1950s. The top has a spring loaded extension. The lamp when plugged in either stays on with one light or both lights on. The piece fits ceiling heights from 88″ to 99″ tall.
