Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage sculptural danish floor lamp with its original accompanying cylindrical shade. The base is constructed of teak wood, and the shade is fiberglass on the interior, and it has a textile outer covering (see photos). The lamp has a metal pull chain switch located at the socket. The lamp has three different output intensities in terms of brightness. We are uncertain as to the maker. There is a piece of green felt along the underside of the base – we didn’t attempt to remove it, but it does need to be replaced. This lamp will look great in any mid century modern or danish modern interior setting! The lamp stands approx. 52″ tall x 7.5″ wider x 7.5 deep. The sculptural wood portion of the base, including the round base at the bottom, measures approx. The cylindrical shade measures approx. 18″ tall x 7.25″ in diameter. The round wooden base at the bottom measures approx. Condition: The lamp is in great shape – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wood shows only light traces of wear commensurate with age and use – nothing bad. All-in-all, it’s been very well cared for by its previous owners. The shade is in great shape as well – no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition.
