Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage plaster table lamp with its original accompanying two-tier fiberglass shade. The base has a rather organic, other worldly look to it. The lamp has two different lights – one comes from the main socket, and then there is a smaller, Christmas-style bulb that is embedded into the plaster base. The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch that is embedded into the bottom of the base. It allows for three-way functionality. One twist will light up the small bulb on its own. A second twist will light up the main bulb on its own. And a third twist will allow both to be lit up together. We are uncertain as to the maker – no signatures or labels were detected. This is a fantastic lamp that’ll make a great addition to any mcm interior setting! With the fiberglass shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The plaster base alone measures approx. 19″ tall x 10″ wide (measured at the bottom of the base) x 5.25 deep (measured at the bottom of the base). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. The double tiered fiberglass shade measures approx. 12 tall, with the upper tier being approx. 15.5″ wide x 12″ deep, and the lower tier being approx. 20″ wide x 12″ deep. Condition: With the exception of one small, old stable chip on the plaster base, the lamp is in exceptionally good and clean condition. The chip can easily be filled in or just left alone. The fiberglass shade is in great shape as well – no burns, creases, breaks, repairs, punctures, etc. All of the lacing appear to be original, and it is intact. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is free from having any issues – no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era wall hanging. Materials: Metal, Iron, Wood. Consists of four metal rods that are welded together, and at the ends of each, there is a wooden atomic ball. Welded to the metal rods are two ooks for hanging something over the front of this piece. The back side has two round fish eye hooks that are welded to it for attachment to a wall. Uncertain as to the maker. 57″ wide x 57″ tall. Each of the eight white wooden balls is approx. 1.5 in diameter. Condition: Good condition, but there is some wear. The wooden ball show paint loss, scuffs, etc. The welding appears to be intact – looks like it may have had on spot reattached at one point in time by a previous owner – not 100% sure. Vintage 50s 50s Green Fiberglass Cone Accent Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic Era
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era accent lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The shade is conical in shape, and is a chartreuse / greenish color. Between the shade and the round base at the bottom are two metal spiral coils the encircle the vertical column of the lamp. The lamp as a standard on/off rotary knob switch which is used to turn the lamp on/off. Uncertain of the maker. It’ll make a nice addition to any mid century. Modern or atomic-themed home. The lamp stand approx. The fiberglass shade measures approx. 5.75″ tall x 4″ in diameter (measured across the top opening). The round metal base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 5.25 in diameter. The fiberglass shade could use a cleaning. Otherwise, there aer no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, burn marks, etc. The round metal base at the bottom shows some color loss and tarnishing – nothing overly objectionable, but being mentioned for accuracy. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is fully functioning, working condition.
