Vintage Mid Century Modern Starburst Wall Clock 1960s Seth Thomas Sunburst MCM – New Movement. Brass-toned metal Rod and Ball atomic-style spokes and 24 substantial solid Teak wood rays surround the brass tone dial. Dimensions: 21.25 inch diameter tip to tip. Clock face is marked “Seth Thomas”. Metal hub and frame. Previously owned, vintage condition, has been thoroughly cleaned. Wood rays were hand rubbed with teak oil, metal rays were polished til they gleamed. Clock is fitted with a new, USA manufactured TAKANE movement. Tested and in working order, keeps accurate time. Hanging aperture on the top of the central round frame on the reverse as shown. New top-of-the-line, USA-manufactured, working Takane AA battery powered movement (installed new April 2024) has on-off switch and rotary thumb wheel to set the delicate hands to the correct time without needing to touch them.
