Vintage Mid Century Modern Starburst Wall Clock Seth Thomas MCM New Movement 60s
Vintage Mid Century Modern Starburst Wall Clock 1960s Seth Thomas Sunburst MCM – New Movement. Brass-toned metal Rod and Ball atomic-style spokes and 24 substantial solid Teak wood rays surround the brass tone dial. Dimensions: 21.25 inch diameter tip to tip. Clock face is marked “Seth Thomas”. Metal hub and frame. Previously owned, vintage condition, has been thoroughly cleaned. Wood rays were hand rubbed with teak oil, metal rays were polished til they gleamed. Clock is fitted with a new, USA manufactured TAKANE movement. Tested and in working order, keeps accurate time. Hanging aperture on the top of the central round frame on the reverse as shown. New top-of-the-line, USA-manufactured, working Takane AA battery powered movement (installed new April 2024) has on-off switch and rotary thumb wheel to set the delicate hands to the correct time without needing to touch them. Vintage Mid Century Modern Seth Thomas Starburst Wall Clock atomic working

Vintage MCM 50s 60s Boomerang Fabric Textile Material Mid Century Modern Atomic
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice long panel of vintage fabric. Circa’50s /’60s. The shapes overlap with each other – they are black, burgundy and yellow over an oatmeal colored background. We are not exactly sure of the type of material – it doesn’t appear to be synthetic, and we’d say its a medium-to-heavy weight material. We do not know the maker – it doesn’t appear to be marked in the selvedge as far as we can see. There’s a lot of material here – it would be ample enough for two nice sized curtains or suitable for whatever your crafting needs may be. 154″ long (4.27 yards) x 46″ wide. Condition: Very good vintage condition – there are no rips, holes, tears, stains, odors, etc. The colors are nice and bold throughout. It does have crease marks from being stored away for a number of years in a storage fin. The material is raw on both the upper and lower edge from being cut from the original bolt (see photos), and one of the burgundy boomerang shapes at the very end of the material has some color loss in it (again, see photos – this is at the end of the material, so it can easily be cut out). Vintage 50s Brass UFO Saucer Planter Sconce Lamp Atomic Era Mid Century Modern
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare killer vintage atomic era ufo saucer wall sconce and planter combo. Circa’50s /’60s. Materials: Metal, brass, wood. The shade is metal, and is painted black on the top, and white on the bottom. The light socket cup and planter are both brass, as well as the tubing connecting the two. The flush wall plate is wood. The shade, as well as the light socket up, each have perforations which allow light to shine out. Measurements: The entire fixture, measured from the bottom of the planter cup to the finial, measures approx. The light socket cup, and the planter cup, each measure approx. 4.75″ tall x 3.75″ in diameter. The shade has a 13.5 diameter. The rectangular wood wall support measures approx. 4″ wide x 8″ tall x 1 thick. Condition: Overall we’d say the fixture is in good condition given its age. It could benefit from a little tic as it does have some minor cosmetic issues that are worth mentioning. First being, the shade is slightly out of round. The metal appears to be fairly malleable, so it can most likely be finessed back into shape; we didn’t bother trying – it has been in left in the exact condition in which it was acquired. There are also a few small superficial scratch marks on the top side of the shade resulting in a tiny bit of color loss (see photos) – again, nothing major, but being mentioned for accuracy. The shade is a little loose, and could benefit from being tightened. The light socket cup has a shallow dent off to one side (see photo) – we didn’t attempt to see if it could be pushed out from the inside, but it probably can. There is a small amount of discoloration / tarnishing on the metal cups (see photos). The electrical wiring appears to be original to the fixture, and it is in good shape – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we’d strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect it prior to long-term use. Vintage 2 Mid Century Atomic Cone Gold Sconce Ball Joint Adjustable Wall Lights
Removed from a mid century bar area that was being taken down. The home was a time capsule full of beautiful mcm lighting. Although it couldn’t be preserved, I managed to acquire a few things of beauty to be loved and appreciated by someone else. Late 1950’s early 1960’s. These lights need to be hard wired. Both were working before being removed. They hung over and illuminated a painting. Each cone has a ball joint which enables them to be adjusted to the spot you want them to shine onto. Great hall lights, bathroom or just about anywhere your imagination can create. There are design cut outs all along the bottom edges. Measurements are also in the photographs. Thank you for looking.
