FOR SALE IS THIS VERY RARE AND COOL LOOKING 1950’s ATOMIC STYLE TABLE LAMP. THE LEGS AND BODY (BALL) ARE MADE OF WHAT I BELIEVE IS METAL AND SOME KIND OF COMPOSITE (BALL). THE SHADE IS MADE FROM METAL AND FABRIC. THERE IS LIGHT WEAR THROUGHOUT THE LAMP, WITH LIGHT SCUFFS TO THE LEGS, BODY (RED BALL) AND THE SHADE, BUT NOTHING THAT IS TOO SERIOUS AND IT COULD BE “TOUCHED UP” BY THE NEW OWNER. HAVING INSPECTED THE LAMP, IT IS MY OPINION THAT IT HAS BEEN RESTORED ON THE BALL (RE-SPAYED) AND THE LEGS HAVE ALOS BEEN TOUCHED UP IN PLACES TOO. NOT UNUSUAL OR SURPRISING GIVEN THE AGE OF THIS LAMP AND THE FACT THAT IT HAS BEEN USED DAILY OVER THE DECADES. THE BLACK METAL LAMP CAGE HAS ALSO BEEN TOUCHED UPIN PLACES. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE FABRIC IN THE SHADE IS ORIGINAL AND SHOWS MINIMAL SIGNS OF WEAR/DUST. PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTOS FOR GREATER DETAIL. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PERIOD LAMP AND I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO ALTER IT IN ANY WAY. SURELY A RARE EXAMPLE AND AN OUTSTANDING PIECE OF DESIGN FROM THE PERIOD – FIND ANOTHER! THIS IS FOR THAT PERSON WHO “HAS EVERYTHING” – A TOTALLY ORIGINAL AND UNUSUAL GIFT. IT HAS BEEN REWIRED JUST RECENTLY, ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT PAT (PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTED) AND AS SUCH I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT THE NEW OWNER GETS THIS DONE BEFORE USING THE LAMP. Pair Vintage Atomic Mid Century 1950s 60s Vinyl Bedside Cabinets Lamp Tables. Vintage Off White in colour with gold trim. Rare to find a pair of these in excellent vintage condition. Iconic shape and atomic influence – great conversation pieces. Ideal in either the bedroom or lounge, would make cute sofa or lamp tables. Covered in the original padded vinyl, which is in excellent order, as a used item it shows signs of use, a couple of marks, but no rips or tares. They have four angled dansette legs which screw in, 1 of the metal plates which the leg screws into is split, but when assembled with the leg screwed in, it is secure and does not move. Packed weight will be over 10Kgs. Well packed and fully covered.

Rare and unique set of 3 Mid Century milk glass suspended ceiling Light Shades. Great mid century atomic graphics. Very good condition – no chips or cracks and graphics nice and bright. Each is approx 12 inches high x 6.5 inches diameter. Originally had brass bulbholders and copper metal caps but these did not have earths connections so 3 new Chrome BC bulbholders are fitted. They will be well packed.

Dancing abstract figures define the darkness of space and matter… Free flowing contemporary dance that through the ages transcended into what would appear to be nude dancers… Coming out of the strict victorian era that had dancers wearing heavy garb and covering their bodies… The 50’s was a celebration of modernism… A deflection from past norms that were restrictive when it came to art… A celebration of space… And daring artists who were putting their historic mark on the times.. The fabulous 50’s… The era before the peace… This offering is for ONE unused and in brand new condition remnant of yardage. A neutral beige and white mottled ground with candied red and avocado limec cloud chasers amidst chartreuse lime clouds outlined with black and white lines. This pattern is called “Cloud Chasers” and is signed glamorously as such “Cloud Chasers Guaranteed Vat Colors” This is extraordinary and one for the designers and collectors with a special eye! Measures 33 inches wide x 31 inches long. But who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Vintage 1950s ATOMIC TV Stand Table Swivel Top Mid Century
A stunning original 1950s Atomic Tv unit in dark finish. The curved top does have a 45 degree swivel action as demonstrated in the photographs. There is a lower shelf to store your removes or use as a display shelf or house a console or sky box. The top does have some wear with a burn mark as shown although when a TV is in place, this cannot be seen. 70cm W x 27cm D x 47cm H (with the splayed legs, the total depth is 36cm).
