This is a super rare 1950s barkcloth atomic upholstery fabric in new condition. Your piece will measures 36 inches long and 46 inches wide, I have up to 6 yards and if you order more than one piece it will be one continuous piece. This barkcloth is soft but stiff and is a medium weight upholstery fabric with a light texture. This is a classic clean atomic pattern with shades of brown, shades of orange, green, tan and black. This fabric would be amazing for pillows, bags and I’ve even seen this fabric stretched and used on picture frames as wall art.

This is a super rare 1950s barkcloth atomic upholstery fabric in new condition. The fabric measures 58 inches long and 46 inches wide, that’s over a yard and a half. This barkcloth is soft but stiff and is a lighter weight upholstery fabric with a light texture. This is a classic clean atomic pattern with shades of brown, shades of orange, green, tan and black. This fabric would be amazing for pillows, bags and I’ve even seen this fabric stretched and used on picture frames as wall art.
Vintage Abstract Atomic Wire Fish Group Sculpture Mid Century Modern Seascape
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique vintage seascape / school of wish wire sculpture. Has a brutalist feel to it. Features three atomic wire fish swimming around an aquatic plant that is popping through the surface of the water (the water is portrayed by four wire rings midway up the sculpture). The wire elements are all attached to a drift wood base (see photos). It’s unique item that’ll be certain to make a splash in any modern setting. 22.5″ tall x 12″ wide. Condition: Very good condition – there are no issues – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. Displays very nicely and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home. All sales are final. MID Century Atomic Retro Jetsons Pinwale Corduroy Wild Abstract Curtains-set/5
FEATURED: A very wild and unusual set of five (5) MID CENTURY PINWALE CORDUROY ATOMIC RETRO JETSONS CURTAINS, in a rare shade of pale gray for the background color, and wild amoeba boomerang-y hourglass shapes flinging themselves across these frisky curtains, with accent colors of red, green and very pale pink! The corduroy is very soft, with its slender’wales’ or ridges, and what a contrast between the fabric, usually done with traditional prints and designs, and the art used here! All five curtains are unlined, and we believe were commercially made, but no labels, information on selvage, etc so these are a fabulous mystery to us! There is one small area on an edge on one panel where there is an old mystery stain, which we have not tried to remove, and we have a hunch that the black slightly bled in some small areas while being washed/dried onto the gray background, but again, it’s a mystery and part of their history, and someone who is a knowledgeable textile person may be able to get these slight issues resolved. Or, with all this yardage, the sky’s the limit on what could be created here- upholstery fantasies, clothing dreams, home decor ideas- well, any and all ideas would work beautifully with this set! Photos really don’t do these justice, we feel! The pinwale corduroy really threw us for a loop when matched with this great, fun Jetsons Atomic Ranch design, and we couldn’t find anything like these online in the corduroy fabric. From an estate of a non-smoking textile collector who bought for decades, with an eye for the unusual, and had the home and staff to store it all safely, this set, with its great long length and fabulous design, is sure to be the star of anything you make and get you lots and lots of great compliments, no matter what you create with all of it! MEASURES: Each panel is 22 inches across the pleated top, and 38 inches across the bottom, with a 1.5 inch bottom hem and 1 inch side hem. These have been washed in the past, with some slight overall even fading noted (the colors are soft from the wash & from the corduroy texture) and are really ready to have a new life as themselves, a set of curtains, or as new creations in your home or wardrobe! All are in a soft pale gray background with wild and frisky abstract shapes in various sizes and colors covering the fabric in a super great design and look! The Mid Century World goes on forever, it seems, and items like these just get scarcer and more hotly collected as years go on.
