1950s Walnut Atomic Vinyl Record Cabinet, Black Legs, Brass Trim, Mid Century
A small walnut cabinet with black’atomic’ legs and brass trim, originally designed for vinyl records. The cabinet has compartments inside which fit a range of sizes of vinyl records, but now would also work well for storing books and files. There is also a small drawer with Bakelite knob, originally for your spare stylus and accessories, which would be useful for stationery. The styling is typically 1950s with its medium toned wood contrasting with black ebonised angled legs, complemented by brass feet, trim and handles. The walnut veneer has lovely grain which shimmers in the light. This little cupboard would bring a touch of mid century glamour to any room. Dimensions: Max Width 62cm, Depth 46cm, Height 69cm. Please note the outer 2 compartments fit vinyl LPs, the centre compartment fits 45s, and the other 2 are believed to fit 78s! A4 folders/books/papers fit into all 4 outer compartments. The cabinet has been gently restored and is in good vintage condition. There are minor signs of use including some discolouration to the brass. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures. Collection is from High Wycombe or Chiswick by arrangement. Retro Teak Atomic Era Cocktail Cabinet Vintage Home Bar MID Century Modern Drink
This is an Atomic Era Retro Cocktail Cabinet raised on short legs with 2 ethched Glass sliding doors and a single glass shelf which is removable. The top section has two compartments, the left is a bureau with pigeon holes whilst the right is a serving area for drinks. Please see the video. A really cool design piece. It is 108 cms high.
Mid century Lebus walnut bureau cabinet atomic legs retro vintage
A lovely mid century Lebus Furniture walnut bureau cabinet. This is a fabulously styled piece of mid century furniture, featuring black atomic legs, atomic brass handles to the drawers, inlaid striped drawer fronts, a pair of glass doors and a drop down bureau front. The unit is in very good vintage condition, with the odd ding and mark you would expect on a piece of this age. The drawers are spacious and wooden, and feature the maker’s label. The bureau interior has 9 different sections for storage of different items, including stationery, one of which is a drawer. The red vinyl pad on the drop down flap has a few marks, but remains usable and attractive. This is a fantastic piece of vintage furniture, which would be a talking point piece in any mid century modern home. Length – 75.5cm. Depth – 41cm (widest part); 25 (narrowest part). A stunning & very unusual 1960’s sideboard. Finished in a veneered teak wood with contrasting black edges & pale lilac formica details, and sitting on a solid black wood frame with stylish v shaped legs. There’s loads of storage space with a shelved cupboard to the right opening with sliding doors, 4 atomic pattern lined drawers to the middle with 2 formica & tile lined drop down cocktail cabinets, and a useful console table area to the left end. The whole unit is handbuilt & appears to be a one off custom piece with no makers mark present, it’s an amazing piece of furniture & will make a real statement piece for any retro lounge. Measurements Of The Item (Approx). W: 229cm, D: 48cm measured at the left section or 43cm measured at the right, H: 89cm at the highest point, 80cm towards the right section and 29cm at the left end. In excellent used condition, a clean & well looked after piece, very solid and heavy, all drawers & doors work fine & it sits well with no wobbles. The lower dropdown door has had a previous repair at the hinge as shown but it’s all fine now, there’s a very tiny chip towards the back right edge, some slight darker patchy marks to right side as shown & the odd minor knock/mark from general use but overall a stunning piece ready to use! Mid Century Art Deco Atomic Themed Cocktail Cabinet with a medium oak finish and mirrored interior. Twin door lower drinks storage cabinet with both original locks and its 2 keys. Comes with its original 6 cocktail mixing sticks and chrome lemon squeezer. (Would have Originally had a light inside but was removed for safety). Cabinet has its original patterned mirrored glass (one mirror is partially mottled due to its age), fun artwork with no cracks to the glass. Both top cabinet doors open simultaneously on mechanical smooth operating hinges. Measures approx height 110 cm x depth 35 cm.
