Vintage Maroon Abstract Biomorphic Ceramic Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic Era
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage abstract / biomorphic table lamp complete with its original accompanying shade. The lamp had one owner, and she took very good care of the lamp. Color: It is sort of a maroon / purple color to our eye – we took the photos outside which illustrate the color quite nicely. The shade is huge, and it is pleated with a cloth-like material on the top visible surface, and a plastic lining on the interior. The color of the shade matches the base. The lamp retains its original wiring and electrical Levitton socket. We were not able to find any signatures or labels on the lamp; however, we have seen these attributed to Royal Haeger. The lamp has a nice solid weight to it – it’s not flimsy by any means. It also still retains its original felt on the underside of the base. PLEASE NOTE : We have an identical matching lamp and shade that came from the same estate. We chose to list each one separately. If you are in the market for a pair, let us know. M easurements: The lamp base stands approx. 29″ tall (to the finial) x 9″ wide x 7 deep. 21 high from the bottom of the base to the light socket. The pleated shade measures approx. 24.25 in diameter across t. He bottom opening x 6 in diameter across the top opening. The shade is approx. 11 tall, and the harp attachment point is approx. 9.5 from the bottom of the shade. Condition: The lamp is in very good, all-original vintage condition – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There are a few tiny skips in the glaze that occurred when the lamp was manufactured (see photos). They are towards the back, and they don’t detract whatsoever – we are solely mentioning them for accuracy. Aside from that, both the lamp and shade are a little dusty, and could use a gentle cleaning (more the shade than the base). The shade is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring and socket are free from having any problems – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. Before long-term use, we only strongly recommend having a licensed professional check the wiring for any problems. Vintage 1950s 1960s Ceramic Brass Lamp Atomic Era Mid Century Modern Lighting
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an unusual vintage atomic era table lamp that looks like a rocket getting ready blast off into space! Circa’50s /’60s. The base is constructed of a pierced brass component the rests just below the light socket. Beneath that there is a bulbous matte black ceramic component. The ceramic piece rests atop a brass accent piece which ultimately connects to the four atomic legs of the lamp at the very bottom. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch which is located at the socket. No shade present – that’ll be left up to the purchaser to supply on their own. It’ll make a nice addition to any mid century modern home or lamp collection. The lamp stands approx. 31.25 tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the finial), and approx. 23.25 tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket). The distance between the two front and two back legs is approx. 6.75, and between the front and back legs approx. Condition: Overall the lamp is in very good condition. The brass elements show a nice gentle patina that comes with age. The ceramic portion shows a small light area which looks like a superficial scuff (see photo) – it doesn’t particularly detract, but we wanted to point it out for accuracy. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. Rare Vintage 50s Atomic Iron Ceramic Pottery Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era table lamp. The base is constructed of iron, and there are two ceramic inserts, one rests at the very top and serves as a shallow dish – perhaps for some faux plants, and the other insert is also ceramic and encloses the light bulb. Both ceramic pieces are off-white in color, with thin black paint swirls throughout. The lamp stands approx. The ceramic dish / bowl at the top has a diameter of approx. 11, and it is approx. The ceramic encasement around the light bulb measures approx. 8″ tall x 6″ in diameter. The distance between the legs is approx. Condition: Excellent condition – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, bends, dents, dings, etc. The interior side of the dish at the top shows some minor signs of light discoloration from age and use – nothing objectionable whatsoever (see photos)… We’re solely mentioning it for accuracy. The fiberglass shade is beige, and the surface is textured (see photos). Uncertain of the maker – no tags present. With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The ceramic base measures approx. 15.5″ tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket) x 7″ wide x 6.5 deep. The diameter of the base at the bottom measures approx. 5.25 in diameter. The fiberglass shade measures approx. 11.5″ tall x 13″ diameter (top) x 14.5 diameter (bottom). Condition: Overall the lamp is in very good condition – the ceramic base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The colors appear nice and unfaded. The fiberglass shade is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, burn marks, etc. The gold lanyard lacing appears to be original, and it is intact. Vintage 1950s Pink Gold Ceramic Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic Fiberglass Shade
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage ceramic table lamp with accompanying fiberglass shade. Circa’50s /’60s. The fiberglass shade is beige, and the surface is textured (see photos). Uncertain of the maker – no tags present. With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The ceramic base measures approx. 15.5″ tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket) x 7″ wide x 6.5 deep. The diameter of the base at the bottom measures approx. 5.25 in diameter. The fiberglass shade measures approx. 11.5″ tall x 13″ diameter (top) x 14.5 diameter (bottom). Condition: Overall the lamp is in very good condition – the ceramic base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The colors appear nice and unfaded. The fiberglass shade is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, burn marks, etc. The gold lanyard lacing appears to be original, and it is intact. The electrical wiring also looks to be original to the lamp, and it’s in good shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition.
