Vintage Mid Century Modern Starburst Wall Clock 1960s Seth Thomas Sunburst MCM – New Movement. Brass-toned metal Rod and Ball atomic-style spokes and 24 substantial solid Teak wood rays surround the brass tone dial. Dimensions: 21.25 inch diameter tip to tip. Clock face is marked “Seth Thomas”. Metal hub and frame. Previously owned, vintage condition, has been thoroughly cleaned. Wood rays were hand rubbed with teak oil, metal rays were polished til they gleamed. Clock is fitted with a new, USA manufactured TAKANE movement. Tested and in working order, keeps accurate time. Hanging aperture on the top of the central round frame on the reverse as shown. New top-of-the-line, USA-manufactured, working Takane AA battery powered movement (installed new April 2024) has on-off switch and rotary thumb wheel to set the delicate hands to the correct time without needing to touch them. Please examine photos for details and feel free to inquire if you need additional views or information. Clock has minor metal age-toning in some locations commensurate with age and use, and minor scuffs. Thank you for your interest in this listing.

BULOVA RETRO RED MID CENTURY MODERN MCM ATOMIC SPACE AGE WIND UP PEDESTAL ALARM CLOCK CONVEX NIGHT LIGHT GLOW. This Bulova wind up clock with alarm is a unique vintage piece from the mid 20th century, featuring a round shape and Red and Chrome color with non-numeric marks. The clock is wind-up and powered by a mechanical movement. The clock stands 6.25 inches tall and is 3-7/8 inches from front to back of the base, with a width of 4-3/4 inches across. The clock has a modern style with a plastic frame and chrome finish, and is an original piece from Japan. The clock is a perfect addition to any collection of decorative and modern clocks. Its atomic character and pedestal make it a standout piece that would add a pop of color to any room. The clock’s alarm function also makes it a functional piece that can be used in a bedroom or office. Amazing condition and very rare! Glow in the dark dots and marks on hands. Alarm works as well. This mid-century starburst wall clock will be the conversation piece in any room. Atomic, Eames Era, mid-century, 1950’s 1960’s, brass wall clock. Roman numerals on the clock face with a black outer dial. 8-day windup movement was a real breakthrough in the mid century, which meant that they no longer had to remember to wind their clocks once a day.
