Vintage MCM Fiberglass Shade Single Tier 50s Mid Century Modern Atomic Era Lamp
ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era rounded fiberglass lamp shade. Color: Beige with silver, red and black horizontal brush strokes applied to the surface. The shade can be used on a table lamp, or on a floor lamp; there a metal ring at the top opening which is meant for the shade to rest atop a milk glass diffuser (see photos). The shade stands 9 tall. The diameter at the top is approx. 19 while at the bottom it’s approx. CONDITION : Very good condition – no rips, holes, tears, punctures, burn marks, etc. The lacing is fully intact, and taut. PAIR Mid Century Atomic Fiberglass Fabric Pinch Pleats Curtain Panels Abstract. Measurements: Each panels is 23″ x 77″ : I measured them both, the second one maybe an inch longer. These are vintage so I’m unsure who made these, just want to point out. Condition: These are nice and heavy. The pinch pleats have been reinforced with additional fabric and there are weights sewn in the bottom corners to keep them down and straight when hung. Please review all photos as they are the best indicator of condition. The fabric has a shiny backside like fiberglass curtains but these seem much heavy. I’m unsure of the fabric type.
