Stylish Mid Century French brass sputnik chandelier with five arms. Each arm is finished with a metal conical shade; either red, cream or black. The chandelier holds six lamps in total. The chandelier comes with it’s original ceiling rose and hook plate. This light has been independently PAT (safety) tested. It will require a suitably qualified / competent. There is natural oxidisation/tarnishing on the brass pieces that reflects the age of the piece along with. Marks and scratches to the conical shades. The chandelier requires small bayonet candle bulbs, these are not included. Overall a fab light. Please note the following. French Mid-Century Modern Chandelier Chrome Bubble Glass Space Age Atomic 1960s. This is a very funky mid-century modern ceiling lamp/chandelier, with lovely optic bubble glass shades. The frame is made of chromed metal and it has gold bolts/nuts. The inside of the shade holders are also gold toned. The design is typical for the space age/atomic era. It was made around the 1960s, in France. Total height: about 17 inch / 43 cm. Diameter lamp shades about 5 1/2 inch / 14 cm. Width lamp: about 12 inch / 30.5 cm. Some very light wear/patina and oxidation to the chrome frame, mainly on the insides of the shade holder, shades are in good order, see the pictures. This is a European wired lamp and might need some adjustments if you live outside of Europe. Even though this is a working lamp, the safety of it can only be guaranteed if you let it get checked and installed by a qualified electrician. The metal s-hook that I used to hang the lamp to make the pictures is not included. We are based in France and offer a lot of European antique and vintage items. We insist on satisfying our customers with all the care we can offer! We have accumulated a lot of experience the past years in packing all the items. The items will be professionally packed to make sure they arrive safe to you. We use double boxing, custom made foam molds, packing peanut chips and more!
