I would estimate these from the late 50s early 60s. There’s no identifying maker mark that I can see, so they are possibly handmade. The backing fabric is a lovely forest or dark green. They measure 10 in by 19 in. The wood is a dark wood. The cats themselves are also wooden. Condition and exact dimensions are as shown. Please note the paper backing has been damaged on both near the hanger.

Vintage Large Mid Century Modern Hanging Ashtray Atomic Red Black Drip Glaze MCM. This ashtray is nothing short of amazing! Around 11″ tall, the body is 7″ and 6 1/2 wide at the center. There is some very light crazing which is hard to see in the pictures, but the orange red paint is bright and glossy. The inside has a few hard water marks which are much better after a short soak in vinegar water, they may still need some attention (see last 2 pictures). I do not see any maker’s marks or signatures but was told that this is an MCM piece and it does look similar to other MCM items I see. This is an amazing and super rare Vintage Hanging Mobile Art Sculpture. It is made of plastic with metal and string connectors. The individual pieces are blue on one side and green on the other side.
