1950s Large Wire Frame Atomic Midcentury 8x10 Art Deco Retro Abstract Metal
This is very rare mid-century frame made of metal wire. It measures a giant 16 x 16″ and is about 5 1/2″ deep. The frame holds an 8 x 10 photo. There is a cardboard back and glass held by two bend tabs under edge. It is in very good condition with some wear/chips to paint and aging/edge wear to cardboard. The bent wires are welded to frame and top piece. They are stacked at intersection without welding. There are no broken welds. Please see photos for scale and exact condition. We can provide more info and photos as needed. This incredible, sculptural, abstract frame has been in our collection for over 30 years. We originally thought it may have been a store display piece but we once saw a small standard 5×7 one so it was likely intended for a moderne home. The designer is unknown, but it is reminiscent of metalwork by Frederick Weinberg, Tony Paul, Alexander Calder, and other midcentury designers.

This is a mid Century Brushed Brass sputnik chandelier starburst light fixture. We made this starburst light fixture with UL approved parts. With 24 arms/light this article measure 32 in diameter without light bulbs. 8W to 15w max recommended by us. Light bulbs are not included. Ceiling canopy is adjustable at different angels so you can hung this accordingly. Made of pure brass in antique patina finish. All our light fixture are crafted by hand. This particular chandelier has been made with Brass material. Minor variations in finish are an inherent characteristic of such material and add to the beauty and uniqueness of the product. Excellent quality mid-century sputnik chandelier. Made of pure Brushed brass (other finish options are available like Polished brass, antique patina brass, brushed brass). Measurements is : 32″ x 32″ x 14 height. 4 center ball with 24 arms. 12 drop rods are included. Drop rod longer than 12 are available with no Extra charge. It does show Corrigan, Michigan to the underside. We are more than happy to help with any further questions. This is a used item of age. It does have marks, scuffs, scratches, signs of wear and tear etc as to be expected. Marks to the top. The formica is lifting around the edges, which we have tried to show in the pictures. Some scratches to the legs, and some discoloration to the metal foot caps. We have tried to capture all of these in the photos as best as possible, so please study these as a good indication of cosmetic condition. A Large Vintage Glass Atomic Era Ceiling Light Pendant. The light has an original Round Flying Saucer shaped Lampshade with a gently sloped top and bottom – The colour white with hand applied Black Atomic Era Sputnik decorations. The glass is heavy and well made with a Satin finish. The long length of new earthed wiring is held in position by a Modern cord grip. The bulb holder and wiring are modern and earthed. The light has modern simple replacement brass ceiling rose with cord grip. Please see my images for the best details. When lit the Atomic Era decorations stand out really well. Shade age is late 1950’s – 1960’s. Max drop is 160 Cm – Shade Diameter is 29 Cm – Pendant height 20 Cm. Good, the light works well and is free of damage. A couple of very small marks from age along with marks and imperfections in the glass and decoration from manufacture. One small manufacturing mark to the rim. Bulb holder &Wiring are new & earthed. Vintage Large Mid Century Modern Hanging Ashtray Atomic Red Black Drip Glaze MCM. This ashtray is nothing short of amazing! Around 11″ tall, the body is 7″ and 6 1/2 wide at the center. There is some very light crazing which is hard to see in the pictures, but the orange red paint is bright and glossy. The inside has a few hard water marks which are much better after a short soak in vinegar water, they may still need some attention (see last 2 pictures). I do not see any maker’s marks or signatures but was told that this is an MCM piece and it does look similar to other MCM items I see. Please review all pictures as they are an important part of the description. If you need additional measurements or pictures please ask. We are not a pet free home.

This is a lovely and Large Atomic Era White Japanese Saltwater Akoya Cultured Pearl Mid-Century Modern Brooch or Pendant. It features fifteen lustrous pearls with bright rosy overtones. They are white in color. They measure 6.00-7.50mm. They are set in swirling/wrapping design with a pendant loop. It measures 3 3/8 in long, it is very large. Stamped “STERLING” for sterling silver. Pearl Type: White Saltwater Akoya Cultured Pearl. Size/Length: 3 3/8 Inch. Condition: Pre-Owned, Very Good. Era: 1950’s-2000’s. All items are packed in a new cotton or velvet gift box. Most can be included at no additional cost. We can modify the piece at little to no cost. Sizing down is included while sizing up is priced based on added materials.
