Vintage 1950s Atomic Era Metal Iron Wood Wall Hanging Mid Century Modern
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era wall hanging. Materials: Metal, Iron, Wood. Consists of four metal rods that are welded together, and at the ends of each, there is a wooden atomic ball. Welded to the metal rods are two ooks for hanging something over the front of this piece. The back side has two round fish eye hooks that are welded to it for attachment to a wall. Uncertain as to the maker. 57″ wide x 57″ tall. Each of the eight white wooden balls is approx. 1.5 in diameter. Condition: Good condition, but there is some wear. The wooden ball show paint loss, scuffs, etc. The welding appears to be intact – looks like it may have had on spot reattached at one point in time by a previous owner – not 100% sure.
