1955 Gold Galaxy Mid Century Eames Abstract Atomic Mobile Linen Bark Cloth 3yd
This is the last piece I have of this fabric! Never used vintage fabric from an estate sale, looks like brand new condition. No holes, tears, stains, or water damage. This fabric features an amazing atomic era hand painted vat dyed screen print of huge mobiles, starbursts and boomerangs in a vibrant colour scheme of teal, aqua, and black on a creamy ivory background with gold threads running horizontally throughout (perpendicular to the selvage). The fabric content is not specified but it feels like a very soft linen or perhaps a cotton blend. It has a smooth texture (not nubby), a lovely soft drape, and is of a medium weight suitable for curtains, pillows or light upholstery projects. The pattern has a large repeat, see quarter for scale. Measures approx 108 inches long by 46 inches wide. Has a slight musty odor from storage, has not been washed. Currently stored in my smoke free home. Feel free to ask any questions.
