Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice long panel of vintage fabric. Circa’50s /’60s. The shapes overlap with each other – they are black, burgundy and yellow over an oatmeal colored background. We are not exactly sure of the type of material – it doesn’t appear to be synthetic, and we’d say its a medium-to-heavy weight material. We do not know the maker – it doesn’t appear to be marked in the selvedge as far as we can see. There’s a lot of material here – it would be ample enough for two nice sized curtains or suitable for whatever your crafting needs may be. 154″ long (4.27 yards) x 46″ wide. Condition: Very good vintage condition – there are no rips, holes, tears, stains, odors, etc. The colors are nice and bold throughout. It does have crease marks from being stored away for a number of years in a storage fin. The material is raw on both the upper and lower edge from being cut from the original bolt (see photos), and one of the burgundy boomerang shapes at the very end of the material has some color loss in it (again, see photos – this is at the end of the material, so it can easily be cut out). BULOVA RETRO RED MID CENTURY MODERN MCM ATOMIC SPACE AGE WIND UP PEDESTAL ALARM CLOCK CONVEX NIGHT LIGHT GLOW. This Bulova wind up clock with alarm is a unique vintage piece from the mid 20th century, featuring a round shape and Red and Chrome color with non-numeric marks. The clock is wind-up and powered by a mechanical movement. The clock stands 6.25 inches tall and is 3-7/8 inches from front to back of the base, with a width of 4-3/4 inches across. The clock has a modern style with a plastic frame and chrome finish, and is an original piece from Japan. The clock is a perfect addition to any collection of decorative and modern clocks. Its atomic character and pedestal make it a standout piece that would add a pop of color to any room. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare killer vintage atomic era ufo saucer wall sconce and planter combo. Circa’50s /’60s. Materials: Metal, brass, wood. The shade is metal, and is painted black on the top, and white on the bottom. The light socket cup and planter are both brass, as well as the tubing connecting the two. The flush wall plate is wood. The shade, as well as the light socket up, each have perforations which allow light to shine out. Measurements: The entire fixture, measured from the bottom of the planter cup to the finial, measures approx. The light socket cup, and the planter cup, each measure approx. 4.75″ tall x 3.75″ in diameter. The shade has a 13.5 diameter. The rectangular wood wall support measures approx. 4″ wide x 8″ tall x 1 thick. Condition: Overall we’d say the fixture is in good condition given its age. It could benefit from a little tic as it does have some minor cosmetic issues that are worth mentioning. First being, the shade is slightly out of round. The metal appears to be fairly malleable, so it can most likely be finessed back into shape; we didn’t bother trying – it has been in left in the exact condition in which it was acquired. There are also a few small superficial scratch marks on the top side of the shade resulting in a tiny bit of color loss (see photos) – again, nothing major, but being mentioned for accuracy. The shade is a little loose, and could benefit from being tightened. The light socket cup has a shallow dent off to one side (see photo) – we didn’t attempt to see if it could be pushed out from the inside, but it probably can. There is a small amount of discoloration / tarnishing on the metal cups (see photos). The electrical wiring appears to be original to the fixture, and it is in good shape – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we’d strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect it prior to long-term use. In its current state, it is in fully-functioning, working condition. If you have any questions, we encourage them and will respond back to you in a timely manner. One of the most Iconic pieces of Mid Century Modern art, “The Chinese Girl” by the famous Tretchikoff. This print still has the tags on the back from the Company in Chicago who ordered it. Overall this is in Absolutely fantastic condition. The frame is very nice, there is a small spot on the matting (see photo with penny). These prints vary in quality, we’ve seen people bring us prints that look/feel like they were cut out of a Magazine. This is top notch, it actually appears to be an original painting when you look at it. We’ve tried to show details in the photos however they simply don’t do it justice. These rare vintage Yamaka “Staccato” Dinner Plates are a unique and stylish addition to any Mid-Century Modern collection. The pattern is mostly white with alternating blue and green teardrops around the rim that create a striking visual impact. In excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or discoloration. These pieces are pre-owned so there may be very slight, if any, utensils marks present.
