Rare and unique set of 3 Mid Century milk glass suspended ceiling Light Shades. Great mid century atomic graphics. Very good condition – no chips or cracks and graphics nice and bright. Each is approx 12 inches high x 6.5 inches diameter. Originally had brass bulbholders and copper metal caps (included) but these did not have earths connections so 3 new Chrome BC bulbholders are fitted. They will be well packed.

Rare and unique set of 3 Mid Century milk glass suspended ceiling Light Shades. Great mid century atomic graphics. Very good condition – no chips or cracks and graphics nice and bright. Each is approx 12 inches high x 6.5 inches diameter. FOR SALE IS THIS VERY RARE AND COOL LOOKING 1950’s ATOMIC STYLE TABLE LAMP. THE LEGS AND BODY (BALL) ARE MADE OF WHAT I BELIEVE IS METAL AND SOME KIND OF COMPOSITE (BALL). THE SHADE IS MADE FROM METAL AND FABRIC. THERE IS LIGHT WEAR THROUGHOUT THE LAMP, WITH LIGHT SCUFFS TO THE LEGS, BODY (RED BALL) AND THE SHADE, BUT NOTHING THAT IS TOO SERIOUS AND IT COULD BE “TOUCHED UP” BY THE NEW OWNER. HAVING INSPECTED THE LAMP, IT IS MY OPINION THAT IT HAS BEEN RESTORED ON THE BALL (RE-SPAYED) AND THE LEGS HAVE ALOS BEEN TOUCHED UP IN PLACES TOO. NOT UNUSUAL OR SURPRISING GIVEN THE AGE OF THIS LAMP AND THE FACT THAT IT HAS BEEN USED DAILY OVER THE DECADES. THE BLACK METAL LAMP CAGE HAS ALSO BEEN TOUCHED UPIN PLACES. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE FABRIC IN THE SHADE IS ORIGINAL AND SHOWS MINIMAL SIGNS OF WEAR/DUST. PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTOS FOR GREATER DETAIL. Fantastic vintage triple ceiling light dating to the 1950s. Ideal for restoring / repainting / reconditioning or otherwise can also still be used in original vintage condition if so preferred. The light itself has three fixed glass shades which all feature a matching printed “atomic / mid century” design. Item measures approximately 53.5cm wide with an approximate ceiling drop of 35cm.

Original Pair of Mid Century Modern Wall Lights / Retro / Atomic. The original Wall Fixings have long since gone so NO FIXINGS ARE SUPPLIED – when these lights were removed from the wall the previous owner had two small wooden blocks either side of the middle wire that were screwed to the wall and then the lights were screwed to them from the side – it certainly did the job and would be easy to do. The lights are in good working order. The lights are in a used vintage condition – there is tarnishing to the brass finishand also at the bottom of the red light holder under the glass shade there are chips to the red plastic — see photos. Height – 9 inches. Depth from wall – 6 3/8 inches. Please see photos as part of this description. The lights should be fitted by a QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
