MID Century 70’s Italian Space Age Chrome & Glass Ceiling Light Sputnik Atomic
Here we have a SUPERB, super stylish Italian designer chrome and glass ceiling light. I absolutely LOVE this and I’m sure it would look amazing once wired/lit. Unknown maker unfortunately but label “Made In Italy” to the top. I would think this is from the 1970’s or 80’s. It has a wonderful space age design, with blue, green and salmon pink ribbed glass beehive shades in the centre of orbiting sputnik like chrome arms which each have a different coloured glass atomic ball to the end. This measures approximately 17 inches by 15 inches by 15 inches, weighing around 1.5kg’s. This would be a perfect addition to any mid century/space age/70’s inspired home. Mid 20TH Teak Century Coffee Table occasional Table. From a large country house, Bought from new & its been used and well looked after all of its life. This is a lovely table of a mid size.. Simply made But – A GREAT LOOK. All in all in excellent order. You dont see many in this conditiion. With some minor normal aged marks/wear/rubs/light screw service rust All stands well and strong with no major damage to the metal work. And dates from around 1960’s/80’s. Lovely to see all the metal white end plugs still attached. These do go missing. A great looking decorative item. A GREAT SPUTNIK – ATOMIC LOOK!!!!!!! With fantastic colour and patina. It stands very well and true on good flat floors. Plant, lamp, magazines, cups. Cleaned & waxed only. 42cm high & 76cm wide & 30cm deep. And not been touched up/repaired or restored (unless stated).
