Small table lamp manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy (attributed). Funnelled lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered in a pistachio coloured paint on the outside and white on the inner. Plated stem with ball joints to the shade and base. The rounded base is made of aluminium painted pistachio. The original switch is plated on the base. There is one plastic bulb socket. The lamp is in very good / good vintage condition and in full working order. There are many paint chips to the base (please see picture). European two pin plug. The lamp takes one e14 bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. Mid Century Italian table lamp attributed to Stilnovo, Milano, Italy. The lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered cream on the outside and silver on the inside with a decorative brass collar detail and other diablo shade lacquered black. Stem made of brass tubing with ball joint to the shade and two addition pivot joints. Cast iron base with faux marble plastic cover and decorative brass rim. The original switch is on the base. There is one brass and ceramic bulb socket. The lamp is in very good vintage condition and in full working order. The lamp has been re-wired and earthed. The lamp takes one e27 bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. This is an EXTREMELY STRIKING and VERSITILE – TALL TABLE LAMP with SOLID BRASS ARM & BASE. IT IS 33 Tall from the Bottom SOLID BRASS BALL to the SOLID BRASS On/Off BALL at the Top of the Shade. The WHITE, BLACK & BRASS SHADES are 8 1/2″ Tall from the Opening to the Top- of the SOLID BRASS BALL SWITCH, 5 1/2″ in Diameter at the Opening & 3 in Diameter at the Top. The SOLID BRASS SUPPORTING LEGS are 9″ Long with a 1″ Diameter SOLID BRASS BALL at the End. The CONES has a SWIVEL CONNECTOR which allows them to ROTATE 90 degrees N & S and 360 degrees E & W or ALL AROUND. It has been RECENTLY REWIRED and is WORKING PERFECTLY. It takes a STANDARD LIGHT BULB with no wattage restrictions. This is a SUPERB LAMP of EXQUISIT PROPORTIONS and because of its Height it has a COMMANDING PRESENCE. This is a WONDERFUL – Eames Era, Bauhaus or Deco – ADJUSTABLE – TABLE LAMP with a STRIKING – WHITE CONE Light Source, a SCULPTED SHADE and SOLID BRASS LEGS with BALL FEET.. The LAMP is 20 Tall as Pictured. The SHADE is 11″ in Diameter & 2 1/2″ High. The WHITE CONE is 7″ Tall & 4 1/2″ in Diameter at the OPENING. The WHITE CONE when Lit throws the Light Upward into the METAL SHADE from where it is dispensed as REFLECTED LIGHT to the DESIRED LOCATION. The ADJUSTABLE SHADE rotates 360 degrees as indicated in the various pictures. There is a BRASS BALL ON/OFF SWITCH in the front of the WHITE CONE and a BRASS HALF BALL FINIAL at the top of the SHADE. It takes 2 Candelabra Base Light Bulbs for a maximum wattage of 120W and the ELECTRICAL CORD goes down the BACK LEG. The LAMP is in EXCELLENT CONDITION as can be seen from the Photos – the BRASS is SHINY, the SHADE is Near Perfect as is the WHITE CONE. The LAMP has been RECENTLY REWIRED and just needs to be plugged into the wall. This is NOT an inexpensive Chinese reproduction. It is SOLID & WELL MADE and of FINE MATERIALS.
