This is an EXTREMELY STRIKING and VERSITILE – TALL TABLE LAMP with SOLID BRASS ARM & BASE. IT IS 33 Tall from the Bottom SOLID BRASS BALL to the SOLID BRASS On/Off BALL at the Top of the Shade. The WHITE, BLACK & BRASS SHADES are 8 1/2″ Tall from the Opening to the Top- of the SOLID BRASS BALL SWITCH, 5 1/2″ in Diameter at the Opening & 3 in Diameter at the Top. The SOLID BRASS SUPPORTING LEGS are 9″ Long with a 1″ Diameter SOLID BRASS BALL at the End. The CONES has a SWIVEL CONNECTOR which allows them to ROTATE 90 degrees N & S and 360 degrees E & W or ALL AROUND. It has been RECENTLY REWIRED and is WORKING PERFECTLY. It takes a STANDARD LIGHT BULB with no wattage restrictions. This is a SUPERB LAMP of EXQUISIT PROPORTIONS and because of its Height it has a COMMANDING PRESENCE. Pair of Mid Century Modern Atomic Chalk Ware Lamps. 1950’s tall architectural hour-glass form lamps with brass spikes. Textured chalkware lamps are incised with Egyptian Hieroglyphics. C1950’s in the style of Frederick Weinberg. Each weighs approximately 7.5 lbs. Signed: FAIP impressed stamp on the backs. Shades are not included. Both in good working order. Each with 3 way sockets and inline on/off switches, older wiring is different on each. As always, vintage wiring should be checked or upgraded to today’s standards. Condition : Good vintage condition, a missing brass spike to the back of one lamp, a small perforation on the side of one (photo #9). Patina to the brass bases, more so to one (see lamp on left in photos). Please examine all photos. Measurements : Overall Height 34. 25.5″ to the top of sockets and 6 1/2″ base diameter.
