RESTORED WOOD & UPHOLSTERY vintage retro atomic dark blue moons wool footstool
Fabulous and sensitively restored with it’s original atomic dansette wooden legs. We have fully stripped the tired thin fabric away and removed the old flat interior replacing it with a high quality foam to replicate the original dimensions. The legs were stripped, stained black, polished black, waxed & the metal feet cleaned. As with all old furniture there will be some age related wear “patina” to the metal feet. The upholstery is in a luxurious blue black Abraham Moons wool with black velvet piping. Such a beautiful large footstool ready for it’s forever home. I also I offer my customers a fabulous bespoke restoration service so you can restore your own furniture or furniture sourced by me to perfectly co-ordinate to your own colour scheme. Seat H 33cm, W 62cm, D 40cm, all measurements are approximate. Highlands and Islands will cost more, this price is just an estimate, it may cost less. Vintage restored luxurious velvet Sherbourne footstool.. RESTORED WOOD & UPHOLSTERY. Fabulous and sensitively restored with it’s original atomic wooden legs. We have fully stripped the tired thin fabric away and removed the old flat interior replacing it with a high quality foam to replicate the original dimensions. The legs were refinished in a black Farrow & Ball paint, then fresh high quality upholstery was added in a luxurious thick teal velvet. All measurements are approximate. This is a super rare 1950s barkcloth atomic upholstery fabric in new condition. Your piece will measures 36 inches long and 46 inches wide, I have up to 6 yards and if you order more than one piece it will be one continuous piece. This barkcloth is soft but stiff and is a medium weight upholstery fabric with a light texture. This is a classic clean atomic pattern with shades of brown, shades of orange, green, tan and black. This fabric would be amazing for pillows, bags and I’ve even seen this fabric stretched and used on picture frames as wall art.
