Vintage Mid Century Modern Space Age/Atomic/Cosmic Woodgrain Bookshelf Speakers
They ooze that atomic, space-age era with their vertical chrome legs and sound-cones. 13.5″ T x 10″ W. Tops have been professionally recovered in a new, durable, vinyl, self-adhesive wall paper that has mid century/atomic/space themes. These have been rewired and have 10′ of cord each. These will sound lovely for light acoustics – like an NPR newscast, bluegrass, jazz etc.. But would not sound good for bass-laden music or rap music. The original Mids inside (Mid-range speakers) are by Zenith (49-1116 / 23131 / 285906). The cones under their lids do a great job of directing and bouncing the sound outward into the room. Please see finger point pic for any minor cosmetic blemishes (there is a small gap on the vintage, vinyl trip that rounds the tops, there is a very small dent to the metal, lower, lip on one, and the chrome has some minor blemishes). These are circa 1950s-60s. White-Stripe wire is the positive wire, albeit, it doesn’t really matter with these so long as you mate them to the stereo in the same manner as one another.

Vintage Metal Bird Cage MCM Mid Century Atomic Style With Vintage Bird Toys
Cool vintage MCM atomic style bird cage. CONDITIONThis does have a lot of all over surface rust on all parts, could be repainted! Needs one more feed container for one side where there’s an open spot. Has a bobble head toy, two plastic branches with plastic swinging parakeets, one has a bell. This measures 14″ across at the top, 11 1/2″ at the bottom, has drawer that slides in and out. You can set this on a table, or if you want to hang it you’ll have to add some hardware on the top which would be easy to do. NOW FOR THE FUN FINE PRINT! Most of the items we sell are vintage, they may have the iconic vintage “smell” or small flaws that could have been missed, we try hard to find and list all flaws but we are human and could have missed a minor flaw.
