Vintage 1950s 60s Beige Plastic Tripod Planter Atomic Era Mid Century MCM Modern
ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era planter and stand. Circa’50s /’60. Materials: Plastic / Iron. The iron stand forms three hairpin legs which hold the planter in place. There are no signatures, tags or labels present, so we are uncertain as to who manufactured the planter. It is suitable for any modern interior space. 15″ tall x 13″ in diameter. CONDITION : Good vintage condition. Structurally there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is thin film of surface rust on the iron stand. There was a paint squiggle application on the exterior of the plastic shell – the color has warn away over time in many areas (see photos). There are no holes drilled into the bottom of the plastic shell, so theoretically the planter can be used both indoors and outdoors. Cool Atomic Plant Table/Stand from the Netherlands. Tripod legs metal legs and laminate surface. It is a small table, so I assume it is used for plants. Measures 12.5″ Wide and 11 7/8″ tall. Good vintage condition with minor wear on top and paint wear on the legs.

Vintage MCM Rye Studio Pottery Atomic Lamp Hand Painted, 1950s, 1960s, Suffolk VGC. A beautiful Rye lamp, hand decorated with a an alternating chequered pattern of stars -and circles in blue, red and yellow. Great geometric “Atomic” style design – I would think this is C1960. Printed blue Rye Pottery mark to base. A really unusual lamp – cool shape, fantastic design. It has a new cable of a good length and I would guess a replacement plastic lamp fitting, with switch, to take bayonet style bulbs. It was PAT tested for safety in 2023. A stunning Mid Century Modern piece of Rye Pottery. Just to say there are some lovely totally modern lamps in MCM style made today at Rye Pottery – they are gorgeous- check out the Rye Pottery website. Condition – Excellent condition – no damage issues, minor wear or kiln-stick on underneath of base rim only – photos 17-19. See all photos to help assess condition fully. Size – approx – 22.0 cm tall to top of lamp fitting, 15.8 cm tall to top of pottery base, 12.1 cm across at widest, (nearly 8 3/4″ tall to top of lamp fitting, 6 1/4″ tall to top of pottery base, 4 3/4 across at widest). Weight of lamp – 745 g. I pack parcels very well using recycled materials where possible, both to keep costs down and be more sustainable.
