Vintage Coffee Table, of an iconic design from somewhere between 1950s and 1960s / Mid Century amazing inlaid, marquetry, lacquered coffee or cocktail table, with an abstract, atomic, free-form pattern of inlaid woods. It measures 92cms wide x 45cms deep x 42cms high. This table is rare. I have found one image of it online attached to a site but with no reference or detail. I’ve found a similar one that purports to be an Art Deco coffee table in Gio Ponti Style, but the best comparison is a table that had been retailed. By Heals in the late 1940s/50s. So I believe that this table is between 60 & 70 years old. It shows several woods inlaid in an atomic, abstract and organic way. The woods are most likely to be exotic e. Maple, mahogany, rosewood, satin wood. The legs are wood painted black and taper into thin solid brass, giving that elegant design. The legs are screwed in, so can be removed easily. This table is not perfect, as can be seen from the photos which I have taken and form part of the description, but it has to be worth having in your home or collection, due to its believed rarity. Apart from the repair seen to the fixing underneath the table top of one of the legs, and the scratches to the black paintwork of the legs, there are barely any signs of age or use on the lacquered surface, so overall this table has to be a must for someone. Please message if you want to ask anything else about this amazing table. I do ask that if you offer on this item and your offer is accepted, that you pay as soon as you can. Wonderful ceramic table lamp in a gold speckled matte ivory base color with a sandy texture and adorned with an dimensional abstract motif in colors of salmon, baby blue and a fleshy beige. There is a 1.4 size shallow chip at the top right side of the lamp. There are also 2 light discoloration spots on the front underside. This is an original painting, not a print, by Palm Springs artist Clee Sobieski. The gallery-wrapped canvas measures 11×14″ with a depth of 7/8″ and is painted on all sides (see pictures) making it ready to hang and enjoy without the need of a frame. The painting is sealed with a polymer varnish with UVLS (UltraViolet Light Stabilizers). It is signed by the artist on the lower right. Additionally it is signed, dated, titled and catalogued on the reverse side.
