Cool Pair Vintage 1950s Atomic Era Biomorphic Ceramic Lamps Mid Century Modern
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a crazy cool pair of unique biomorphic designed ceramic table lamps. Circa’50s /’60s. Both the back side and front side of the lamps show the same design (see photos). It will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shades – there are currently none present. They’ll make a great addition to any mid century modern interior dwelling! The lamp stands approx. 23.5 tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp), and approx. 15.5 tall (measured to the top of the light socket). The ceramic portion of the lamp base measures approx. 12.75″ tall x 7″ wide x 5 deep (at their maximum depth towards the bottom of the base). Condition: Overall, both lamps are in excellent cosmetic condition… There are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. One of the sockets is a little loose, and simple needs to be tightened. The electrical wiring looks to have been replaced at one point in time – there are no issues with the wiring – no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. There is a lot of length to the wires, just an FYI. The lamps are both in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamps are b. All sales are final. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an interesting mid century modern vintage plaster and metal table lamp manufactured by E. The lamp has an organic feel to it – it sort of resembles a plant leaf, and it has a biomorphic vibe to it. Materials: Plaster, Metal (brass rods). The lamp is signed on the bottom back edge of the base close to where the electric cord emerges (see photos). The lamp has a standard rotary knob switch located by the light socket which is used to turn the lamp on/off. It’s a great lamp – we’ve had it in our personal collection for years – it’s time to let someone else enjoy it as much as we have over the years! Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique vintage ceramic table lamp with double-sided raised abstract / biomorphic shapes. Circa’50s /’60s. The ceramic portion of the base rests atop a small square wood base, which is support by four (4) small gold painted atomic ball feet. There is also a slightly larger atomic ball accent between the top of the ceramic base and the light socket. The socket has a standard rotary turn knob switch which is used to turn the lamp on/off. There are no signatures or maker’s marks present. Also, there is no shade present with this lamp – that’ll be left up to the winning purchaser to provide on their own. The lamp stands approx. The ceramic portion of the base measures 15″ tall x 5″ wide x 5 deep. Each of the four small gold atomic ball feet measures approx. 0.5 in diameter. Condition: The lamp is in excellent shape – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. It could benefit from a gentle cleaning, but is otherwise, good to go!
