Lamp to top of socket: 21.75. Lamp to top of finial: 28. Weight (not including cord or shade): 4 lbs. Tall, 15.25 wide. This lamp has an amazing design, with a rocket-shaped piece of ceramic and a black wire base that makes it look like it is blasting off. The ceramic is white with a pink splatter all over it. It also has some random black marks scattered around. It has been tested to make sure it works, and is set for a three-way bulb. Based on the parts, I would date it to the 50’s or 60’s. It has an older style harp that isnt removable, and the cord looks original. The socket may have been replaced at some point, but I’m not sure. The ridged neck piece above the ceramic is crooked, and has likely been that way for a long time. Removing the harp means the box size wouldn’t need to be as tall. The tan colored fiberglass shade shows it’s age. The larger tier has a 3 wide impression that isn’t too obvious (circled in a photo). The rawhide or leather string has dried out over time, leading to cracks in the string or missing string entirely. The bottom of the shade is restrung with a thin black string, and the top of the shade also has a black string reinforcement. _gsrx_vers_827 GS 7.0.13 (827). Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era black wire cage table lamp. It has a plastic-like material that wraps around the exterior of the base forming the shade (see photos). The electrical wiring contains an inline on/off switch that is used to turn the lamp on and off. The lamp is unsigned insofar as we’ve been able to detect – we are not certain as to the maker. We’ve come across these lamps in the past, and it seems there has never been a definitive answer as to who designed them. The lamp stands approx. 15.25″ tall x 8″ in diameter. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. To the wire portion of the lamp. The shade material that wraps around the exterior of the base is also in great shape – no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, etc. Displays only the slightest signs of wear that are consistent with age and use. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era black wire cage table lamp. It has a plastic-like material that wraps around the exterior of the base forming the shade (see photos). The electrical wiring contains an inline on/off switch that is used to turn the lamp on and off. The lamp is unsigned insofar as we’ve been able to detect – we are not certain as to the maker. We’ve come across these lamps in the past, and it seems there has never been a definitive answer as to who designed them. The lamp stands approx. 15.25″ tall x 8″ in diameter. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. To the wire portion of the lamp. The shade material that wraps around the exterior of the base is also in great shape – no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, etc. Displays only the slightest signs of wear that are consistent with age and use. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. Stylish Mid Century French brass sputnik chandelier with five arms. Each arm is finished with a metal conical shade; either red, cream or black. The chandelier holds six lamps in total. The chandelier comes with it’s original ceiling rose and hook plate. This light has been independently PAT (safety) tested. It will require a suitably qualified / competent. There is natural oxidisation/tarnishing on the brass pieces that reflects the age of the piece along with. Marks and scratches to the conical shades. The chandelier requires small bayonet candle bulbs, these are not included. Overall a fab light. Please note the following.
