Fabulous Danish design coat rack/hat stand very similar to one designed by Askel Kjersgaard in the 1950’s. Very scarce design and shape. Stands at 69 inches tall. The coat stand is vintage and well used, in unrestored original condition, some marks, scratches, scuffs from wear and use. Very good and strong structurally. There is a small split above one of the feet but does not effect the stand (see photo). IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW PLEASE READ!! All our items come from a clean and smoke free home. Roger Feraud – Astrolabe – Coat/Hat Stand. By GEO – 1950s. An ICONIC Atomic-Space Age Design – with more than a touch of Gallic Elegance & Design Flair. These Provide a Very Stylish Key Design Element to any Mid-Century Interior. And now difficult to source – even in France – and especially so, Post-Brexit. Bought during a holiday in the South of France in 1996 (and – a pig to get back to the UK I can recall :). And carefully stored-unused ever-since? ! And in very good++ and entirely original condition. The elegant original gilt globes are luckily un-painted/’restored’ (a common fault) – and with just with an attractive sparkle-patina for authenticity. The frame also is in its original satin black, which remains in good condition with absolutely no corrosion. Also, the ball feet are all present & perfect too. With this example the feet are less splayed – Apparently to reduce its footprint for a narrower hallway/space (a factory option). With all the legs being an even height – and. Mid Century Chrome Coat Stand. A fantastic retro atomic piece with a striking appearance. The steel stand is made up of chrome and black plastic hooks. There are loads of hooks for coats and hats, and the stand has an umbrella holder on each side. 160 H x 60 W x 60 D. Overall very good condition for its age. Shiny all around, the chrome has come away a little on some of the hooks. We are located in Staffordshire, where collection in person is welcome by appointment.

Extremely rare and super cool atomic coat hanger featuring the atomic boomerang on each side. Original mid century item, not a reproduction. The atomic boomerang was more prominent in the US in the 50s than in Germany so it might have been originally from the US. The top is made out of perforated metal in cream. Please expect age appropriate sign of wear form the last 60+ years. There are faint paint markings on one of the boomerang sides, please refer to last picture.
