50s MCM Atomic Fiberglass Pinch Pleat Drapes Curtains 60s Orange Brown
Amazing set of 1950s/ early 60s fiberglass pinch pleat drapes with a super cool mid century modern print in orange, brown, and olive green. There are four panels total. One large panel measures 84″ wide x 84″ long, two smaller panels measure 54″ wide by 51″ long each, and there’s an extra panel with an unfinished side hem that measures 31.5″ wide x 84″ long. Overall condition is good. There is a light stain towards the bottom of one of the smaller panels that I haven’t tried to remove, and there is a spot with a repair on the longer panel (both pictured). The bottoms of the longer panel are somewhat frayed from touching the ground, so I’d recommend hemming them. Overall an amazing set with a ton of fabric that looks awesome with mid century decor!

A pair of 1950s unlined 100% cotton curtains in designer Francoise Lelong’s “Annulet” fabric, metal rings for hanging. The design, for Heal’s of London, was produced in 1956; another example is held by the Victoria and Albert Museum. If you wanted to use them as curtains you would need to hem the bottom edge. Otherwise, this is a rare document of Lucienne Day era mid-century atomic Festival of Britain design. Each curtain is 120 cm wide, 140 cm long. Washed and ready for use.

Great lot of 2 total Panels of Space Patrol – Atomic – MCM – Jetsons look. Lots to look at! These would be great for a few windows (looks like there is extra fabric at the bottom to lengthen them), could be used for other uses seat covers, accent pillows or other uses. Please see the photos and ask any questions. The size of each panel is approximately 23″ wide at the top and spreads to 37″ wide on the bottom. Could use a cleaning.

Barkcloth Midcentury Atomic Large Curtains. These are a fantastic pair of vintage curtains which I bought and restored about ten years ago. They were in a poor state. I washed them and darned and repaired many holes. I had them professionally relined with off white cotton. There are still a few flaws, ragged edge at part of the bottom and a few tiny holes. But generally, they are in very good condition for their age and present very well. In the photos, it is the sun shining creating a lighter patch, but they are only a little colour faded at the edges. It is unusual to find such a large pair of curtains in usable condition. Here is a pair of truly remarkable mid century barkcloth drapery or curtain panels! Each unlined drape measures 57 long and 25 1/2 wide. They have openings for your curtain rods with narrow hems all around. Sorry my photos aren’t better; overcast skies make good natural light photos hard to capture! The close ups are taken near a window and best show the fabulous design and colors! Ground is white with amazing gray, taupe and black orbits with red squiggles! Rare and gorgeous fabric in excellent condition! No stains odors or problems! If you didn’t need these as window treatments, fabric would be so great for upholstery projects, pillows, totes, etc. SO much finer than shown on this overcast day!
