A Pair of Atomic Blackamoor Tribal Dancer Chalkware Lamps with Fiberglass Shades, c. This Pair of Lamps would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Each Lamp is crafted of solid chalkware, both showing a Blackamoor Tribal-Man – One playing a drum and the other dancing with a shield in hand. The original off-white lacquer is accompanied by gold accents with a splattered motif. The solid black figures creates sensational contrast while paired with the overall color palette. The original fiberglass shades are nicely sculpted, taking the shape of a kidney. The natural colored shade shows a matching splattered motif with black lacing. The ruby glass matching finials are a nice touch, they’re either original to the pair or true to the lamps era. The backside of each Lamp is marked Magidson Bros 1953. Condition: This Pair of Lamps are fully tested and work as they should, they do not have to be rewired. Mild discoloration to the shades can be seen, there aren’t any holes or tears shown. The pair is finished in a vibrant turquoise lacquer with a speckled overlay – The colors contrast perfectly.
