Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage sculptural danish floor lamp with its original accompanying cylindrical shade. The base is constructed of teak wood, and the shade is fiberglass on the interior, and it has a textile outer covering (see photos). The lamp has a metal pull chain switch located at the socket. The lamp has three different output intensities in terms of brightness. We are uncertain as to the maker. There is a piece of green felt along the underside of the base – we didn’t attempt to remove it, but it does need to be replaced. This lamp will look great in any mid century modern or danish modern interior setting! The lamp stands approx. 52″ tall x 7.5″ wider x 7.5 deep. The sculptural wood portion of the base, including the round base at the bottom, measures approx. The cylindrical shade measures approx. 18″ tall x 7.25″ in diameter. The round wooden base at the bottom measures approx. Condition: The lamp is in great shape – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wood shows only light traces of wear commensurate with age and use – nothing bad. All-in-all, it’s been very well cared for by its previous owners. The shade is in great shape as well – no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Please ask them and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. Vintage Danish Mid Century MCM Walnut Teak Brass Atomic Rocket 3 Prong 33 Table Lamp. Statement piece walnut table lamp. I’ve seen this lamp or very similar attributed to a few different manufacturers/designers & did not see a sticker or signature on this one. On and off switch controlled by a walnut pull attached to the brass rod in the center of lamp. At one point it looks like there was an inner lampshade attached to the center rings by the small clamps in the photo’s. It has since been removed & has been used with a regular lamp shade seen in last photo shade not included in sale. There is remnants of tape on the center circles & some tarnishing on the brass (photo’s). The very top edge facing up of the walnut lamp is not as smooth as the rest of the lamp (photo). Gorgeous Pair of Sleek Retro Mid Century Modern Sculpted Wood Steel Atomic Table Lamps Danish Teak. Brushed nickel steel colored accents the curved sculpted solid dark wood. The center pole is brassy gold toned bringing mixed metals to the forefront in such a classy way! The lamp has a sturdy solid wood base 2.75″ tall, 6.25″ wide at the bottom. MCM Vintage dating from approximately the 50s or 60s. 2 Original Frames included – Bare Wire Metal Shade Frames to be restored 16″ tall, 14″ diameter.
