Vintage 1950s Mid Century Retro Atomic Industrial Multicolor Light Fixtures Set
Wonderful original set of 1950s industrial retro ceiling light fixtures. The fixtures came from a commercial building and had been mounted on a beam direct to electrical boxes. The plates look to have been hand made for that particular application and have a wonderful look, you could always add your own choice of ceiling cap as well but these were how they were used and found. We had the light’s newly rewired and the original porcelain sockets are in great working condition, all three lights work as they should. The blue and beige lights finish are in fairly nice condition yet, the red light took the most exposure and has a fading effect. There is some white paint specks in the blue and red shades, and some discoloration lines in the red shade. The lights look to be free of any denting/dings. The lights are very old and not perfect but a very unique original set of retro lighting from the 1950s era. Four Vintage Mid Century Modern CEILING LIGHT FIXTURES Space Age Atomic MCM
These light fixtures are very cool looking and have that mid century flare that is so popular today. The fixtures nee some work as they are missing some parts and have some scratching but you could easily have 4 fixtures that match with a little work. I believe there is an extra shade. The bases are about 6 1/8 inches in diameter and the shades are about 14 inches in diameter. The longer shade is about 13 1/4 inches from the bulb base to the base and the others are about 7 5/8 inches. The parts are as pictured and like I said they need paint touch up and soldering and some replacement parts as well as one socket needs work as it is broken but worth the effort and so hard to find 4 matching lights.
