The lamp is in nice condition and working. The dimmer switch works as it should and also turns the light on and off. Measures 18″ tall x 16″ diameter of the tempered glass. Fresh from a local estate! Wonderful vintage electric wall clock, designed by GEORGE NELSON for HOWARD MILLER CLOCK COMPANY. See original “HOWARD MILLER / Chronopak” decal label, still attached to backside. This is an ORIGINAL! (not a later copy or reproduction). This “Ball clock” consists of twelve orange wooden balls connected to the orange wooden body by brass rods. Color may look a little red in my photos, but this is the orange version. Clock was tested and it is in perfect working order. Measures 13 1/4 in diameter. No chips, nicks, cracks to the balls or body. Very minor bends to minute hand, as shown. I can not be positive, but there is a chance that the clock as repainted at some point, by a previous owner. GUARANTEED TO BE VINTAGE, AND NOT A LATER COPY OR REPRODUCTION. BOOKS & LARGE ITEMS. Quintessential mid century modern design elements with a touch of googie. Faux bois finish with dark orange and light orange diamond accents on the top and bottom. Sleek Welby clock face (presumably made of brass) with a sleek look and age-appropriate patina. Such a gorgeous, striking piece with amazing design. We’ve never seen this clock before, and we’ve seen literally dozens from this era. The globe is in good shape for being 63 years old. The globe outer components are steel which includes the base, circular months identifications, and the circular degrees marker. The steel components are in nice shape. It is awesome and an eye catcher. The celestial globe measures 16.5 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter. The globe itself is in good shape but does have areas of lighter blue color and scratches as shown in my pictures. Two of the light blue areas are a few inches in length. Im not sure if the lighter areas are water damage or some other type of staining. There are some scratches on the steel circular zodiac sign horizontal plate. For its age though, the globe is in good shape. Look at the pictures closely. The globe moves around freely.
