Table Lamp Large & Original Ceramic Atomic Era Mid 20th Century 60s Sputnik
A Large Vintage Ceramic Atomic Era Table Lamp. The lamp has a great Atomic decoration, made from Heavy ceramics fitted to a solid wooden base. The background colour is Pale cream with a painted spun finish which has dark low lights , the lamp has blue and black linear decorations and dark red lava drip glazed Dot detailing. An unusual period piece with a Northern European Scandi feel in its design. The lamp has a new modern earthed BC bulb holder and modern earthed wiring with an in-line switch for operation. The lamp has modern cable protection fitted & has a felt base under. Please see my images for the best details. Lamp age is late 1950’s – 1960s. A large lamp – Overall Height is 49.5 Cm – Max Diameter is 18 Cm. Condition is very good for age, the lamp works well. Small tarnish marks from age to the original metal parts. Bulb holder &Wiring are new. The lamp works perfectly. The ceramic part of the lamp is free of damage and has minor marks from the handmade & hand finished nature. Set of 3 Original Large 1950’s Mid Century Atomic Milk Glass Light Shades Eames
Rare and unique set of 3 Mid Century milk glass suspended ceiling Light Shades. Great mid century atomic graphics. Very good condition – no chips or cracks and graphics nice and bright. Each is approx 12 inches high x 6.5 inches diameter. Originally had brass bulbholders and copper metal caps (included) but these did not have earths connections so 3 new Chrome BC bulbholders are fitted. They will be well packed.
