Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage metal and wood adjustable atomic era floor lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The lamp features three pierced conical shades that can pivot / rotate at their connection points. Each of the metal shades is adorned with a wood accent piece along the top surface (see photos). The lamp has three-way functionality: one turn of the rotary knob switch allows the top and bottom shades to light up together, another turn of the switch will allow the middle shade to light up on its own, and a final turn will light up all three shades at the same time. The on/off rotary knob switch is located on the vertical column (see photo). Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 62.25 tall measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the vertical bar. Each shade measures approx. 10 long (measured from the top of the wooden accent to the edge of the shade opening at the bottom). The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. Condition: There are no breaks, repairs, etc. The lamp is in good condition for its age, but it does have some cosmetic issues that we will mention. First off, the shades shows loss of the gold coloration in areas. The metal underneath is a silver color, and it shows in those areas (see photos). This can easily be remedied with a fresh coat of paint, or it can be left alone. We chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The wooden accent pieces at the tops of each of the shades could use a gentle polishing, but they do display fine as they are. The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp shows signs of tarnishing, mainly around the edges (see photo). Again, we chose to leave it as it was acquired, but it can easily be repainted, if desired. Each of the shades pivots / turns well at their connection points. The electrical wiring is in good shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in 100% working order. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a seldom seen atomic tripod lamp designed by Ferris-Shacknove. Circa’50 /’60s. The lamp base is constructed of iron with small wooden atomic ball feet. The shade is constructed of textured cotton over paper. We have included an advertisement from an old Furniture Forum catalog for reference (see photo). It’s a stylish atomic lamp that’ll look fantastic in any mid century modern setting! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 16″ in diameter. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket measures approx. The distance between each of the atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: Overall, give its age, we’d say the lamp is in very good condition. Aside from the light bulb socket being a little loose and needing some tightening, the base is free from having any issues. It is structurally solid, and displays very nicely. The shade is original to the lamp. It has some minor faint areas of discoloration (possibly old moisture marks or something of that nature). We have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. The shade can easily be turned to have those marks facing the back (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era black wire cage table lamp. It has a plastic-like material that wraps around the exterior of the base forming the shade (see photos). The electrical wiring contains an inline on/off switch that is used to turn the lamp on and off. The lamp is unsigned insofar as we’ve been able to detect – we are not certain as to the maker. We’ve come across these lamps in the past, and it seems there has never been a definitive answer as to who designed them. The lamp stands approx. 15.25″ tall x 8″ in diameter. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. To the wire portion of the lamp. The shade material that wraps around the exterior of the base is also in great shape – no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, etc. Displays only the slightest signs of wear that are consistent with age and use. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a seldom seen atomic tripod lamp designed by Ferris-Shacknove. Circa’50 /’60s. The lamp base is constructed of iron with small wooden atomic ball feet. The shade is constructed of textured cotton over paper. We have included an advertisement from an old Furniture Forum catalog for reference (see photo). It’s a stylish atomic lamp that’ll look fantastic in any mid century modern setting! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 16″ in diameter. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket measures approx. The distance between each of the atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: Overall, give its age, we’d say the lamp is in very good condition. Aside from the light bulb socket being a little loose and needing some tightening, the base is free from having any issues. It is structurally solid, and displays very nicely. The shade is original to the lamp. It has some minor faint areas of discoloration (possibly old moisture marks or something of that nature). We have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. The shade can easily be turned to have those marks facing the back (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an interesting mid century modern vintage plaster and metal table lamp manufactured by E. The lamp has an organic feel to it – it sort of resembles a plant leaf, and it has a biomorphic vibe to it. Materials: Plaster, Metal (brass rods). The lamp is signed on the bottom back edge of the base close to where the electric cord emerges (see photos). The lamp has a standard rotary knob switch located by the light socket which is used to turn the lamp on/off. It’s a great lamp – we’ve had it in our personal collection for years – it’s time to let someone else enjoy it as much as we have over the years! It’ll make a welcome addition to any modern interior or atomic ranch setting! Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage metal and wood adjustable atomic era floor lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The lamp features three pierced conical shades that can pivot / rotate at their connection points. Each of the metal shades is adorned with a wood accent piece along the top surface (see photos). The lamp has three-way functionality: one turn of the rotary knob switch allows the top and bottom shades to light up together, another turn of the switch will allow the middle shade to light up on its own, and a final turn will light up all three shades at the same time. The on/off rotary knob switch is located on the vertical column (see photo). Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 62.25 tall measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the vertical bar. Each shade measures approx. 10 long (measured from the top of the wooden accent to the edge of the shade opening at the bottom). The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. Condition: There are no breaks, repairs, etc. The lamp is in good condition for its age, but it does have some cosmetic issues that we will mention. First off, the shades shows loss of the gold coloration in areas. The metal underneath is a silver color, and it shows in those areas (see photos). This can easily be remedied with a fresh coat of paint, or it can be left alone. We chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The wooden accent pieces at the tops of each of the shades could use a gentle polishing, but they do display fine as they are. The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp shows signs of tarnishing, mainly around the edges (see photo). Again, we chose to leave it as it was acquired, but it can easily be repainted, if desired. Each of the shades pivots / turns well at their connection points. The electrical wiring is in good shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in 100% working order.
