Vintage restored luxurious velvet Sherbourne footstool.. RESTORED WOOD & UPHOLSTERY. Fabulous and sensitively restored with it’s original atomic wooden legs. We have fully stripped the tired thin fabric away and removed the old flat interior replacing it with a high quality foam to replicate the original dimensions. The legs were refinished in a black Farrow & Ball paint, then fresh high quality upholstery was added in a luxurious thick teal velvet. All measurements are approximate. Collection is available from my Nottingham workshop. THE WHOLE THING HAS SUBSTANTIAL WEIGHT AND WILL NEED GOOD SUPPORT WHEN HANGING. IT MEASURES APPROX 50CM IN DIAMETER AT WIDEST POINT, IT DROPS 40CM DEEP NOT INCLUDING CHAIN. COMES WITH MATCHING ONE LIGHT ONE ARM WALL LIGHT AND SPARE SHADE ALSO INCLUDED. THIS WAS A STUNNING PIECE IN ITS DAY AND WITH A NICE POLISH WILL BE SUPERB AGAIN. These lights look like something the Jetsons would have on their walls. There are some tiny paint spots on the finish. These are untested, but I see no reason why they should not work. One light is missing the glass cover in front of the bulb. They are 9.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall. The stick out from the wall about 7 inches.
