XL 1960s / 70s Geometric Op Art Space Age Fabric Mod Retro Textile Wall Hanging
Iconic designs produced by talented designers during the Mid Century period featured bold colours and geometric shapes that were so evocative of the era. This striking textile panel features original vintage fabric designed by Margit Steiner in the 1960s / 1970s and has a real Atomic, Space Age feel about it. I have shown the panel hung in two ways as it gives a different effect depending which way you hang it. The panel has been made with original vintage Mid Century fabric stretched over a new wooden frame. The fabric is in good vintage condition, however, being over 50 years old it does have a few imperfections. The colours throughout are still deep, bold and bright. There is slight discolouration to some areas and pin hole size white specs in the fabric visible up close. The selvage containing the designer and pattern names has been left visible along one edge (please see pictures). The wall hanging is hand made, and measures approximately 90cm x 95cm. Handmade mid century style 3 tiered fiberglass lamp shade. The larger center tier measures 15 inches in diameter and is 5 inches tall. It is made with turquoise colored fiberglass and has a simple arc pattern in gold. The top and bottom tiers are 12 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall. These are made with ivory colored fiberglass with no pattern. The lacing is transparent gold. The shade is 9 inches in total height. This listing is for the shade only and not the lamp base in the pictures. I added those pics so you can see what the shade looks like when it is mounted on a lamp and lit up. This shade hangs perfect using an 8 inch harp.

Vintage 1950s Mid Century Retro Atomic Industrial Multicolor Light Fixtures Set
Wonderful original set of 1950s industrial retro ceiling light fixtures. The fixtures came from a commercial building and had been mounted on a beam direct to electrical boxes. The plates look to have been hand made for that particular application and have a wonderful look, you could always add your own choice of ceiling cap as well but these were how they were used and found. We had the light’s newly rewired and the original porcelain sockets are in great working condition, all three lights work as they should. The blue and beige lights finish are in fairly nice condition yet, the red light took the most exposure and has a fading effect. There is some white paint specks in the blue and red shades, and some discoloration lines in the red shade. The lights look to be free of any denting/dings. The lights are very old and not perfect but a very unique original set of retro lighting from the 1950s era. Please review all photos using zoom for condition detail and feel free to ask questions if needed prior to purchasing. Thank you for looking!
