Meant to tug heart strings and open minds in a way that allowed the love of mid century modernism to sink in as it was sweeping the nation… This fabric is from the early 50’s to 1957… A ecru off creamy beige ground… Darkest teal turquoise emerald green… Darkest nearly black chocolate bordering eggplant… Yes it truly is… A nice nubby barkcloth… While it started its life as a drapery panel it remains strong… One for the serious modernist collector. I have another one also available… One is signed “Roomaker Fabric Guaranteed to be Vat Prints”… And the other is not signed. Maybe about an inch… But truly the body of this feels more unused. This offering is for ONE ready to hang very cool drapery panel… Ready to add some space age ATOMIC bling to any space by merely hanging them up… I have 4 available… A fab textured cotton barkcloth… With scrabble board abstract squares and oblong spherical shapes indicative of the mid century atomic era they were born some 60 years ago. And black on a clean white ground that looks pretty unused. There is a slight fold line down center from where it was folded on the bolt before it was made into draperies. Mid Century modern vintage 1950s atomic glass Table by the famous designer & sculptor Edward Ihnatowicz made for Mars Furniture. Has a black steel frame with a polished brass rim and three polished circular brass knobs on the base. The frame are in very good condition almost mint condition. The glass has lighter signs of wear, has 2 scratches that dont are too disturbing & one small chip that are barely noticeble when fitted in the right place in frame. Please see the last picture.
