Vintage Sonneman For George Kovacs MID Century Modern Atomic Saucer Lamp Dimmer
The lamp is in nice condition and working. The dimmer switch works as it should and also turns the light on and off. Measures 18″ tall x 16″ diameter of the tempered glass. There are some light spots of tarnish on the base, I have not attempted to clean it. Fun fact #1: This lamp(not this exact one)is in the movie Casino on the managers office desk. Welcome to Crates & Cotton Vintage. 20.75 across the glass shade Glass shade has textured atomic design on inside which shines thru the frosted glass. Brass tone base shows some tarnish. There are holes to shine a dotted pattern on the ceiling. There is one hole which is enlarges. None of the tarnish shows when installed if high enough on the ceiling. This light was attached at the ceiling so has a short cord. You will need to have the cord replaced or altered to use as a hanging fixture. Came out of a 1940’s cottage in the thumb of Michigan. Has been attached and working great up to the day of listing. (wish I had taken a pic before uninstalling).
