Welcome to Crates & Cotton Vintage. 20.75 across the glass shade Glass shade has textured atomic design on inside which shines thru the frosted glass. Brass tone base shows some tarnish. There are holes to shine a dotted pattern on the ceiling. There is one hole which is enlarges. None of the tarnish shows when installed if high enough on the ceiling. This light was attached at the ceiling so has a short cord. You will need to have the cord replaced or altered to use as a hanging fixture. Came out of a 1940’s cottage in the thumb of Michigan. Has been attached and working great up to the day of listing. (wish I had taken a pic before uninstalling). Vintage Retro Mid Century Atomic Pull Down Saucer Kitchen Table Ceiling Light. Check out this beautiful vintage retro atomic saucer style pull down kitchen table ceiling light. 14″ in diameter x 18″ tall from ceiling to tip, when fully retracted as pictured. This is in vintage pre-owned condition. Was lighting up perfectly prior to being taken down and placed in storage; Has not been tested since. We are unsure as to the functionality of the pull down mechanism, and did not want to risk anything by messing with it too much, we’ll leave that to the experts. Has some normal wear/tear throughout, including some crazing on one side. Glass shade is in excellent shape; No chips or cracks. Mid Century Modern ATOMIC Gold Tone Kovacs Sonneman Style Saturn Lamp UFO Saucer. This is a brass Robert Sonneman desk lamp for George Kovaks from the 80s. Has glass halo ring at top that makes the lamp look like the planet Saturn or a flying saucer. Lamp also has black metal mesh on top and as trim where the glass piece fits. Lamp stability is 3 brass legs that connect the top to the base. Dimmer switch works great and clicks when completely off. Brass is showing some scuffs and the finish is showing discoloration from age. Please check photos for condition. Lamp is tested and working. Light bulb included but not sure how much life is left in. Overall, this lamp is a head turner with its Memphis style design. The imperfections although noticeable up close dont take away from this lamp in appearance. Please see all photos and ask questions before purchasing. PAIR Atomic Ranch Mid Century Modern Metal Pendant Swag Lamp Saucer Light
As found, fresh out of a ranch remodel. These great lamps are a matching set in two sizes. The large one has an 18 inch diameter and 10 inch height. The smaller one has a 11 1/2 inch diameter and 8 1/2 inch height. White with brass accents, these lamps have their original spun fiberglass color tubes inside the metal perforated outer tubes. For a white light effect, they are removable. The spun fiberglass tubes are very solid but for horizontal split near cutouts at the top, not seen except in top view (see last picture). You may never see another pair of these! Great vintage original condition with no bent metal. Made to be hard wired with brass ceiling plates. Gotta love the look! Vintage Atomic Flying Saucer Ufo Disc MID Century Modern Ceiling Fixture
This is a very hard to find caged UFO Style pull down light fixture. However, the pull down is not working. The fixture is a three light fixture and is working. It measures 17″ in diameter and is 17″ in height as is without the pull down working. The ceiling mount is 5 1/2″ in diameter and is 1 1/2″ deep. There is wear to the brass from the pull down (it was used). Metal top is perforated with tiny holes for illumination. The interior of the glass shade has a chip where it attaches to the fixture. Please see close up last photo. The fixture can be turned on from the bottom. You can turn on one light, two lights or all three lights. I have it wired to an extension cord to show that it works. My personal opinion is the the fixture should be completely re-wired before use. This cord will not be included. This is a vintage fixture and it is NOT perfect. Vtg 19 Atomic Saucer Rings Ceiling Light Fixture Retro Mid Century Industrial
Light fixture measures approximately 19 diameter and hangs down from the cieling 29. Very unique and retro cieling fixture- has 3 cascading metal rings and a concave diffuser ring on top near the bulb. PLEASE NOTE: this fixture uses a large base bulb (not the typical medium base size bulb) this bulb has alight proof paint on the bottom so all the light is thrown up so it will not blind you if you look up at the fixture. Bulb is tested good and included but cannot be guaranteed although I will take great care in packaging.
