They measure about 24 inches high. The shades are 8 1/4 wide by 6 1/2 deep. The one shade has some wrinkles. I did not try to take them out I know there are ways to do it with a steam iron. They measure about 6 3/4″ tall and each panel measures about 6 1/2″ at their largest point at the base. The piping is great on both shades. They are both in nice shape with only some staining here and there. One of the shades has a bit more staining than the other, (See pics). We’re pretty sure these were made by Modeline, as the designs are the same and you can see where the original labels would have been on the sockets. The electrical and cords are in very good working condition, the lamps and shades are excellent for their age. One lamp and shade is lighter in tone than the other, this being due to it being in more sun. Please refer to the photos for details of these areas, but overall, these are gorgeous lamps! A Pair of Atomic Ceramic Table Lamps with Orange Shades, United States, c. This Pair of Table Lamps would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Each Lamp is nicely sculpted of ceramic, the pair shows stunning lines and details throughout. Each Lamp is decorated with a hand painted double panel along front in a quartz shade, a continuous gold lacquer can be seen along the rest of the lamp for contrast. The orange lamp shades are original, each are finished in an orange felt, lined in the same quartz tone as the panels. The underside of each lamp is unsigned or marked. Condition: This Pair of Table Lamps were exceptionally well made. There aren’t any cracks or chips in the ceramic, although mild discoloration along the front of each lamp can be seen from age. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool vintage table lamp. It is floral in appearance. The base is constructed of wood (looks like walnut), and the cylindrical shades are an opaque milk glass. The shades are held in place each by a metal disc that fastens directly onto the threaded socket cup. The lamp has an on/off rotary switch located on the base, and it allows for 3-way functionality: one twist lights up the upper socket independently, and a second twist lights up the lower socket independently, and finally, a third twist lights up both at the same time. There is an old piece of green felt still attached to the underside of the base. It undisturbed, but it’s a good indicator that the lamp was most likely manufactured by MAJESTIC. We aren’t 100% certain as we didn’t want to go underneath it to check for a label, but that’s what we’re leaning towards insofar as the maker goes. It’s a great lamp that’ll make a welcome addition to any modern interior setting! The lamp is LARGE – it stands approx. 42.5″ tall x 20.5″ wide. The distance from the bottom of the base to the upper light socket is approx. 25″ high, and 11″ to the lower light socket. Each of the opaque milk glass shades measures approx. 11.75″ tall x 5″ wide x 5 deep. The round wooden base measures approx. 9″ in diameter x 1.75″ tall. Condition: The lamp is in very good condition with no notable problems to report – the wood components are free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. It displays very well in its current state without being polished. The glass shades are also in excellent shape – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. Lastly, the electrical wiring is in very good condition and appears to be original to the lamp – there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. This listing is for an amazing pair of mid-century modern table lamps with original fiberglass atomic shades. The lamps are circa 1950s and despite some minor issues they are in overall beautiful, vintage condition. The lamps are approximately 18.5 to 19 inches tall with the shade on. The shade is approximately 10 inches across the top. This is a 3-way lamp. The base lights up, the top lights up, and you can have them both on at the same time to set the perfect mood. The main body of each lamp is made of glass with a metal mount on the bottom. The bodies appear to be in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks or chips. The fiberglass shades are also in excellent condition with no holes or cracks. There are a some light stains in a few spots but they can be turned to the back… And I have not attempted to remove them by cleaning. The metal bases have some oxidation as photos show. I tried to show the worst of the worst on one of the lamps. Both lamps have some of the oxidation in places. Again, I have not attempted to clean the oxidation but I would assume it will not come off. The lamps look beautiful as they are, but it would be simple to remove the bases and spray paint them if you want them to look perfect. The only other issue is that while the cords work and are not brittle, they are original and if I kept the lamps I would replace them. I didnt do that because some purists like to do that themselves. In addition, I would use a gold-colored cord while the originals are white. So I will let lucky winner choose the color for themselves. One of the cords was cut and a new piece was spliced in. Again, it works fine but I would replace it. The base of the lamps are lit with a common nightlight 4 or 5 watt bulb. In the end, I really like the green bulb best and that is what I took photos with and that is what lucky winner will receive. I will leave those in. They are very simple to take out and replace as you see fit. I could go on and on about this pair of fine lamps. They are so incredibly beautiful! To find one of these lamps in this condition is a great find. But to find a pair is a rare opportunity indeed!
