ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era planter and stand. Circa’50s /’60. Materials: Plastic / Iron. The iron stand forms three hairpin legs which hold the planter in place. There are no signatures, tags or labels present, so we are uncertain as to who manufactured the planter. It is suitable for any modern interior space. 15″ tall x 13″ in diameter. CONDITION : Good vintage condition. Structurally there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is thin film of surface rust on the iron stand. There was a paint squiggle application on the exterior of the plastic shell – the color has warn away over time in many areas (see photos). There are no holes drilled into the bottom of the plastic shell, so theoretically the planter can be used both indoors and outdoors. Mid century style oval fiberglass lamp shade. It measures 18 inches in long by 9 inches wide by 9 inches tall. It is made with ivory colored fiberglass and has a spatter pattern in black. The lacing is black. This listing is for the shade only and not the lamp base in the pictures. I added those pics so you can see what the shade looks like when it is mounted on a lamp and lit up. This piece is old stock yardage… Unwashed and in fantastic brand new condition. Measures 23 inches wide x 16 inches long. A textured barkcloth and was part of a original bolt that I have designed with over the last 30 years. But who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience.
